Been studying the show’s art style lately with some fake screenshots. Backgrounds and shading is so hard but aaaa this show is so pretty

Yamamoto is often impressed but confused by Caroline’s scientific jargon on the bridge.

And Caroline finds Yamamoto’s deep, frustrated growls often directed towards the captain to be quite…stimulating.

I’m soooo happy with how this came out. I feel like it looks like a promo poster for the original anime! The background was heavily inspired by the Irresponsible Captain Tylor opening. I desperately need more people to watch this show so I can talk to them about it (and definitely not shove my self-insert art down their throat, goodness nooo…)
