Call me a junkie, I survived addiction. But you don't know the crippling darkness it took to choose drugs over life. Call me a cutter. But you never understand why cutting seems to comfort the demon inside me. Self destruction is the beast that consumes me. Performing self surgery to see if I choose to live or die this time. Skillfully slicing around veins like a surgeon. Russian roulette at its finest. Call me an anorexic. Because I am. Don't tell me too just eat..i would if I could. You don't know how hard it is to have food be the enemy. Call me traumatized but I am. That's what ptsd and sexual assault has done to me. Mental health drains you. Just because you can't see an illness doesn't mean it's not there. JH

I feel like some people need to be educated on this and reconsider options if they feel they need to be involved with the dangers of self harm. Of all the addictions, I personally feel this is one of the worst so please don’t. Also keep in mind it’s NOT JUST CUTTING.
