This Is Life Pilot

Life Pilot are 5 friends from Adelaide, South Australia who play music together. Whilst they may not be operating aircrafts, one thing that is for certain is that they are making the most out of living and doing what set out to do, which is – write heavy angry fast songs and not conform to any trends or bullshit. It’s this sincere honesty and ruthless disregard for doing everything By The Book that has catapulted them into the spotlight of many admirers nationally, which saw them take out the 2013 Triple J Unearthed competition for Adelaide Soundwave. To date the band has self-released a self-recorded demo and a split EP, both of which picked up lots of attention from media around the country through Triple J, Radio Adelaide (Voted #2 in Radio Adelaide’s top 10 Heavy Adelaide bands), Blunt Magazine (Top 20 bands to watch in 2014), plus many other radio stations, blogs, street press and also spins for their ‘By The Book’ film clip on Channel V’s LOUD program. They have toured the east coast and also shared the stage along their travels with the likes of Every Time I Die, Kverletak & Senses Fail. 2014 will mark the year of their debut EP release ‘High Noon’ and will soon be announcing tour dates in support of it. Life Pilot also like ice cream, nachos and cat meme’s.
