not in canon. she’s single and has no interest in relationships. she’d have to meet someone very special to change her mind.

besides being a trained assassin? she can sew, repair her own gear, and also is a FABULOUS cook. a girl’s gotta live well

Astrid loves to party. but she also loves to watch movies and TV shows (she totally binges Netflix on days off). she’s also secretly a huge fan of trashy romance novels but she’ll never admit it

14. What is their favorite food? How often do they get to eat it?

Astrid is used to fancy cuisine due to what her job entails. because of that, she actually really likes homemade classics like hamburgers. diner food, basically. something that reminds her of a home that never existed. she doesn’t get to eat it often 

23. Do they get lonely easily?

no, she doesn’t mind being alone.

25. What is their biggest flaw?

her willingness to sacrifice innocence lives. she doesn’t care what happens as long as she gets the job done.

betraying Nikolai. she is terrified of turning against him and what could happen because of it. i’m honestly… not really sure how she’d handle it. she generally does not handle things well

Dirty, sarcastic humor. Any kind of dirty joke will do

Astrid never says “I love you”. it would probably take extreme circumstances for her to say it

Astrid has… conflicting feelings about sex. she isn’t ashamed of her own desires and isn’t afraid to pursue them. she most definitely is not a virgin. but she’s also used sex as punishment for herself and has had very bad experiences with it. but in more positive circumstances, she is very open and honest about her sexuality and does not hide it

children! she loves children. also, simple acts of love. she isn’t used to that at all

Astrid loves children and is actually very good with them! she would like to have children, but knows her occupation would prevent her from properly raising a child

i need to get away from my abusive father

i hate having to ask for money, but i’m at the end of the line here. long story short, i need to move out of my parents’ house. my father is emotionally, verbally, and psychologically abusive to me. my old counselor has even said so. originally i was planning on using student housing as an escape when i go to college this upcoming fall, but i haven’t been accepted or anything yet, so it may not be even an option

but i can’t wait that long. i’m afraid that if i stay here much longer, i may hurt myself. my father triggers me almost every day. i struggle with severe depression and anxiety and have been working hard on my recovery but he undermines me at every turn. i recently got a puppy who i intend to make my emotional support animal, which would make finding an apartment easier, but atm she neither has had her shots or has been spayed because i can’t get her to a vet because my parents are extremely unreliable. but i digress

i honestly feel if i stay another year here, i may die. not from my father or anything, but because of myself. my suicidal thoughts have come back in recent months and have only gotten worse because of the escalation in his treatment of me. i’m afraid that i’ll actually be pushed to that limit. i’ve already come so very close to it several times last year. i’m scared for my life

i have a Patreon for my high fantasy novel that i’ve been working on for the past three years. i also have a Ko-fi for donations. i have to save up for not only rent (which averages at $800 here but usually is more) but the deposit, along with pet fees and pet deposit if i cannot get Zenko, my puppy, registered as my esa before that. there are also other bills like wifi (which i need to do practically anything with my writing and keeping in touch with my girlfriend and friends as i cannot afford both that and a cellphone). i do receive temporary assistance and food stamps along with my Patreon earnings so i have enough to survive, except for rent. rent is the biggest obstacle here

Hello, everyone! 🐉⚡🏹

My name is Abigail, but you can call me Abby! I’m an aspiring author from New York. For the past few years, I’ve been working on a high fantasy series called A Tale of Dragons & Thunder, or more specifically, the first book in my series, called The Dragon’s Ichor. It was inspired by my first game of Dungeons and Dragons, along with other fantasy works by Tolkien and George R. R. Martin. It’s near and dear to my heart, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to work on it all too much this year, due to my mental health and other various financial issues.

It’s my dream to get ATODAT published someday. It’s so very important to me to share my story with the world. Next year, I am also planning on starting classes towards a creative writing degree, so I can share ATODAT in the best possible way. But I have bills to pay, and a new puppy to take care of (who will hopefully become my emotional support animal, which is something I’ve been wanting for a while). My eventual goal is to be able to move out on my own, which will be greatly beneficial to my mental health. 

The Dragon’s Ichor:

Over a century ago, the kingdom of Niraelle fell to the Cyriacan Empire. It was a calculated move on Cyriaca’s part, who had been steadily conquering the continent of Aeos over the past decade. The siege on the capital was over almost in an instant. The royal family, House Taranis, was massacred by the Dragon Conqueror. Any hope for stopping the Empire was crushed when the youngest princess was caught attempting to escape, and slaughtered like an animal.

Since then, Niraelle had settled into their occupation, along with the other conquered kingdoms. But not all are content with this life. There have been attempts at resistance, which have all been efficiently crushed. But now, there are whispers—whispers that House Taranis may have survived through the King’s younger brother. People are rallying under this banner, calling themselves Stormbloods in honor of the royal family’s ancient draconic name.

For the past decade, Runa has been living in the town of Forestgate, working on the farm of her adoptive father. Then one day, she receives a letter from her birth father, who had abandoned her at seven years old. In the letter, he makes a request: she must travel through the north and search for the royal tombs of the House of Thunder, the ancient name for House Taranis. If she doesn’t reach the tombs first, the royal regalia may fall into the hands of the Empire. And most importantly, they may obtain the Crown of Thunder—an artifact that contains unimaginable power.

Though confused and conflicted, Runa decides she might as well look into his quest. When she reaches the first tomb, she can choose whether or not to continue. It’s better than staying home and doing nothing but help sustain the farm. And then, maybe finally, she’ll find the answer to why her heart burns and her blood runs gold.

Red is a skeptic at heart. she doesn’t really identify as anything but if she had to choose, she’d be an athiest. she believes the world is too fucked up for a god to have created it

Lily is a Christian! she’s been struggling with her faith a little so she doesn’t really act on blind faith anymore, but… she wants to believe

Jaden is a skeptic to a T. it’s hard for her to believe anything without proof

Meilin’s family follows some Buddhist traditions but she is not overly religious. she’s actually pretty chill about this stuff. she’s not a skeptic, but she doesn’t easily believe things either

Innes goes to church but isn’t very religious at all. she does believe a little more easily than others, though- especially when it comes to ghost stories 

Anabel is Wiccan! she believes in all sorts of things. conspiracy theories are her jam, as are the spooky things. she’ll believe almost anything tbh

Shay is Jewish! she’s pretty into her faith, and does have a bit of blind faith. she believes there’s a reason for everything. she can be a skeptic towards more spooky things, though

Clarisse takes atheism and skepticism to a whole other level. it’s nearly impossible to get her to believe in anything (including humanity)
