TJMAX TEA

so i typed out this whole ass thing about TJMAXX and posted it but it never really posted?? I hate tumblr but okay here we go again.

1. This is kinda funny to me because my friend was trying to scare me from lifting at a TJMaxx ever because she said they have cameras everywhere that not only the store can see but corporate as well. sus i can tell you for a fact that some of those cameras are fake asl and they’re trying to scare you as an employee from stealing. but the corporate thing probably true because i’ve heard of that before.

2. They can’t accuse you of shoplifting. They CS you to death. If you look sus the SAs come and ask you if you need any help with the items you have and if you seem suspicious like ignoring them, refusing help (which is stupid asf what if im not lifting and i genuinely don’t need help?? im sus because of that??) they call the manager and the manager calls security or the cops if it’s a freestanding store.

3. If you’re caught it’s a fine and a ban from all TJX stores TJMaxx, Marshalls, Homegoods etc.

the manager can't actually call security or the police just if you're being sus. we have to see you actually take something before we can even inform our manager, then they'll observe to see if they can personally see them take it and if so, proceed to call security. basically we give you plenty of time to get out.

this one time two guys were being sus and one of them just walked out with a handful of jeans and when the second one was about to do the same all we did was ask for a receipt and he pretended not to know english and we just let him go.

a lot of people think to stay the fuck away from there but to me, knowing what i know, it's a goldmine. i always go to out of town stores to lift.

guys my lifting buddy is so rude to the sa’s and in my opinion quite obvious when she’s trying to lift things (looks up for cameras, loudly tells me she’s nervous or “doesn’t know when to do it”, goes to a blind spot 10 times), not to mention she doesn’t have a hook or magnet and when she found out i had one (i wasn’t planning on telling her) she brings shit to my fitting room or asks me to switch items with her so i can detag for her. the only reason i haven’t stopped lifting with her yet is cause i find it so much easier to have another person i can use as a blind spot and i’m pretty unmotivated/sad when i lift on my own. but i feel like one day she’d get us caught… i think i should probably start lifting alone again but UGH i wish i could find a different lifting buddy in my area

ya i’d definitely drop ur friend as a lifting buddy, there’s no point lifting with someone who’s such a huge risk :/ u could also try talking to her about it but in the end it’s ur freedom and safety that’s at stake here. it sounds like she doesn’t really appreciate that lifting, while fun, is still illegal

Tips for scamming?

I want to scam forever 21 by saying my order never arrived. The order would probably be made on my parents credit card though.. should I use prepaid visa? How much money should I spend to get refunded and will they just give me a refund if the order never arrives?

i would look up their online return policy first. i did the same for ültä and they ended up giving me a gift card instead of my money back, which wasn't entirely worth it. i would definitely use a prepaid card if it's your money. don't expect it to happen right away though, whenever i scam they make me wait awhile just in case the package "magically" shows up. what i usually do is once it arrives wait 2-4 days before telling them that it says it's been delivered but it hasn't shown up. total time expectancy: most likely a month. just be patient and good luck!

all of the posts on here that tell u exactly what to do in certain stores etc are so worthless literally stop making posts that go super in depth about people using certain techniques that work every time at a specific store. stores everywhere are designed differently with different security and training at every store. it makes me so upset when I see store master posts that give fucking step by step tutorials on a store. I think the most helpful tips are the tips that tell you what NOT to do. the tips that tell you exactly what to do in a store can make you extremely cocky. please be aware that every location is different.
