Introduction to the conundrum

I normally wouldn't make an account on this website, but I am in a situation that requires desperate measures to keep track of it. Today is the 16th of May. It has been the 16th of May for 27 days. No matter where I write the experiences of the previous days down, the notes disappear at the next reset. This is my attempt to maybe keep a form of a log on everything that is happening.

So far I am certain of a few different data points.

I always wake up in my bed at 6:15 to my alarm clock

Mother makes breakfast and has it ready at 6:22, it is always the same even when I ask for something different the "previous" day

Sayu wakes up too late (can be changed by me) at 6:47

The way to university is crowded, but it's always the same faces

The lectures are the same word for word as long as I don't disturb it in any way

Ryuzaki joins in the third lecture

We sit together and eat our lunch at 12:33

Point 4 to 7 only happen when I go to the university to my knowledge

Ryuk has been absent since the first 16th of May

No one seems to notice the reset, except for me

Sometimes Ryuzaki seems to deviate from his set routine, but this seems mostly in reaction to my current state

Ryuzaki dies in some way at 13:18-13:19

Time seems to reset itself to the morning of the 16th immediately after his death

I have yet to form a theory on why this is happening and why I am the only one to retain my memories. If anyone has a theory or an idea of why those things are happening, I'll gladly hear you out.

Ooc: This is an account for a Light in a time loop situation, I am planning to write a fic about this concept, but I am lacking in creative death ideas for L. This Light right now has just joined the task force and is a few days away from meeting Misa, so he knows that there is a second Kira, but not who it is. The times mentioned will probably at some point be relevant, but for now they are only placeholders. There will be discussions about brutal deaths and gore here, since most deaths of L will not be peaceful. I will tag appropriately.
