Before I disappear for heaven knows how long, to my fellow manhwa lovers, go read The Gyeongseong Mermaid if you haven't read it. It's hands down the best webtoon I've ever read, be it completed or ongoing story 👀

Everything about the manhwa is perfection, from the art, storyline, characters development, backstory, pacing of the story, translation to the research on Joseon's history (and Japanese imperialism <- more people need to be aware of their atrocities).

Uihyeon: Before I was born of my parents, I was born of Joseon. Joseon is my mother... my friend... my brother... and my lover. What other woman could melt my heart and make my blood boil hotter than this?

Haesu: When the day comes that your father must be executed, I will pull the trigger for you. You can have your great romance. I'll be the venomous one.

I second every single word. The Gyeongseaong Mermaid is above, quality wise, any other webtoon I’ve read so far. 

Such a complex story, with multifaced flawed characters. I wish there was a printed edition.

I’m down to episode 38, it will took me a while finish it using the daily pass, but I already fear the ending is going to be what I guess. 

Also ....yay ...same time period and setting as Gaksital!!!

ML is back? How time flies ...

I’m reviving this blog after a very long while cause I’ve just found out there is a trailer for Miraculous S5′s first episode.

.... and I’ve realized ...that I still haven’t watched  S4. 😱😣

I kept delaying cause I wanted to see it chronologiclally, and in French, my favorite dubbing. 

But then the episodes started to pile up, and real life got in the way, and now ... I have the hugest backlog I ever had since I started watching ML. Which I hope to start dealing with in the following days.

Nevertheless, I kept myself up to date with spoilers and commentaries. Even if, it’s not like having seen the actual show.

So this time around ... I’ll watch S5 as it comes out, no matter the dubbing. The tag for eventual spoilers will be  “ml season 5″.

I’m so relieved to see Bunnix in the trailer. I bet Fluff will be the first  kwami they are going to recover. 

If that’s the case, I will be able to definitely enjoy the duo taking back the jewels one by one. My anxiety was mostly due to the fact that Gabriel had Fluff. 

Not that he would have been able to make good use of it, considering how his brain only functions on one single neuron. But still .... I’m happy to see this  particular miraculous back in action.

And Chat’s fusion costume is cute. 

I can’t wait for more.

I know right? I wonder what’s the fandom’s opinion on Babi’s topic. I’m re-reading everything on the App to be able to check comments. And I guess there will be some roasting, but it would take a while for me to reach that part with the daily pass 😣. 

Soonrok is my spirit animal. I can’t wait for his casting. I wonder if they are going to give him a perm 😆😆

 She is a clean freak. And he doesn’t like to wash himself. Like .....never.  Cause he’s too busy playing videogames.  

But since outside of his frog-self he is so “handsome”, she agrees to go on dates only if he shaves and put on clean clothes. You go girl. Show him who’s the boss.  Neeedless to say that he gives up and comply. Always!!! XD XD

Webtoon recommendation

If anyone’s interested in a romance/ comedy webtoon I highly recommend reading The Girl and The Geek. The characters are soo funny and the storyline is soo ridiculously cute. I started and literally got stuck reading it last night that I only got 3 hours of sleep. I honestly cannot wait till more chapters get updated. This webtoon is great for anyone who enjoys stories where the main couple are seriously whipped for each other with and no love triangles and huge misunderstandings.

Another webtoon worth reading

Apparently I can’t stop reading webtoons out of late. Better if they are manwhas and complete, so that I can binge. And besides.... there are so many that you just end up choosing something that picks your interest while browsing aimlessly on the countless portals out there. It’s like wandering in wonderland.

That’s how I stumbled upon the fluffliest, cutest, most hilarious story ever. I’ve laughed so much that I had to come back to it today after finishing the whole thing in one go yesterday.

This is it. The Girl and the Geek on Tappytoon. 

If you love stories which blend slice of life, comedy and romance this is for you. It’s so lighearted and funny. Also, I like my webtoons much more if there isn’t any pointless drama in it. 

I wonder if there are other works from those two authors.
