“Excuse me good sir,” he spoke to his son, currently sitting in the booster part of his shopping cart, nibbling away at the odd piece of fruit that he could pull from its stand. “Have you paid for that?” Chuckling, Hercules grabbed a bag of grapes and tossed them into his cart, “Remind me again why I took you grocery shopping?”
“Pretty sure you were once like that. He’s letting you know just how annoying you must’ve been as a baby,” Jim responded back teasingly. “Just like how Mum says Sarah is getting me back for all the hell I used to cause as a toddler. It’s what kids do.” As if to prove his point, when he looked down at Sarah, he noticed she had started trying to toddle away to look at another shelf. “Example A!” Before she could get away from him, he quickly scooped her up. “What’cha think you’re doing, hm? Do you give your mummy this much trouble at the store?”
