“So what? Did you just run off on your bill Mr. Auror?” Audrey chuckled, pulling a couple dollars out of her back pocket. They were crumpled and a couple were stained with a black something that smelled faintly of car. “That’s not very aurorly of you.” She handed him the bills as they grew closer to the cae he’d been lunching at. “Here.” She looked back down towards her shop and made a unintelligible ‘I dunno’ mumble and shrugged. “He’s probably off with Jane today. I’m not his keeper so long as he gets work done eventually.”
“Are you paying me for catching a purse snatcher?” Hercules raised an eyebrow before waving away the bills, “Nah, left my stuff. Besides, I’m there so often that at this point, I think they’d be able to track me down at home.” Stopping in front of the cafe, he gestured towards it, “Let me pay and get my shit and I’ll walk with you. We haven’t done anything in ages.”
