High school finally feels comfortable now! There was a lot that I had to adjust to but now it feels more like a routine. Met some amazing new people and cross country season is starting of great! 💕

If you require kids to go to school by law, they shouldn’t have to pay for anything at all to be able to go there. They shouldn’t need to pay for food, books, a laptop, anything that the school gives you. If a child has to pay in any way to attend school, it’s a failure of our government to provide proper funding

sometimes you need to do the hard thing. study for your test even if it’s boring and you want to avoid it. get up an hour early to exercise even if you feel like death. go out of your way to help someone else even if it’s inconvenient. do something alone even though you’re afraid of being judged. go somewhere new even if it’s scary and disorientating at first. confess to the person who makes u blush even if it means risking rejection. let go of your old habits even though it feels like you can’t live without them. it’s supposed to be hard. life isn’t going to have amazing rewards if you’re always feeling comfortable.

Back here again for college ahhh I missed my desk so much! Went to a bunch of club meetings and tabling for an orientation this week. I have mixed feelings about going back to school next week but I’m just gonna try to relax before chaos that is school ensues.

drake had released scorpion recently and “in my feelings” has become a hit. i can’t walk 2 meters without hearing someone singing the opening lines (not that i’m complaining, champagne papi has always been a fave of mine!) my main focus last week (spread pictured above) was hustling, and i barely had any time for myself. thankfully, this week had two suspensions which gave me a chance to sleep in a little. 

also, happy birthday to my boo, @obliveiate !! i love u so much, em, and i’m not gonna remind you of your age HAHA. i miss you :-(

bullet journals aren’t for everyone

you don’t need a fancy bujo spread every week to be a studyblr

you can use a normal planner and still be a studyblr

you can use cheap bic pens and still be a studyblr

you can never buy a muji pen or mildliner and still be a studyblr

you can have a computer that isn’t a macbook and still be a studyblr? like what is this apple worshipping cult?

you can type all your notes and still be a studyblr

you don’t have to take honors/ap/ib classes to be a studyblr

you don’t have to go to a 4 year college to be a studyblr

nontraditional students are beautiful and valid and you are working so damn hard

learn your own way. don’t let others get you down.
