did anyone find it really weird Lloyd seemed to just… not care about Jay at all in the Tournament of Sources?

like no reaction just a shrug “we don’t know what happened to jay after the merge” and just never really mentions it again? like he’s just mourning the loss of Aron over his own brother and friend who he has known for years?

i think it would be absolutely hilarious if morro was on the Ninjas side and the Ninja just complain about Jay being evil now so morro just possesses Jay and just walks him back to the Ninja so they have him at least physically 😭

Jay and Nya would be the type of couple to have Nya try on a new lip tint or gloss and for Jay to test if it smudges or not sobbing rn I miss them

The funniest thing about this height chart I'm working on is that Jay's like an inch taller than Kai and Kai's the shortest person on the team. You cannot tell me that wouldn't annoy the hell out of Kai lmao

It’s just..

Even when they were younger, Nya’s always been protective of Jay when she had to be. She was there when he needed her, even in the most dire times.

So, to see Jay acting like this.. knowing this isn’t like Jay at all, harms her more than anyone will ever know. Because she knows her best friend like she knows herself. Jay’s changed.. and Nya isn’t sure if it’s due to the Merge or due to Ras.

Even when Nya won, you know she felt terrible. Because like Lloyd said, they may have won the battle, but they lost Jay in the process. He still put that forsaken mask on and now, they have no idea if he’s even THERE anymore. Not even a small fraction of him.

The Ninja got to see their brother again.. but at what cost? Because will they ever truly see the real him again?

Just.. one more thing.

“Which we will, right?? Jay needs us. Not only has he lost his memories, he used the Gong of Shattering. We have to find a way to heal his inner goodness. The way Nya valued her friendship with Jay more than a tournament will always be on my mind. Forever.

Wait Lord Ras said to Arin that “any information that Jay has I also have” pretty much, but how would Lors Ras know ALL OF what Jay knows… unless he has access to Jays memories? Did he erase jays memories??? or does he just have access to them?? ALSO when everyone does the suprise gasp when Jay is revealed to be on the dark side now, Lord Ras says “i knew the ninja wouldn’t see this coming” SO HE PLANNED THIS??? HE KNEW ABOUT JAY??? HE KNRW WHO JAY WAS AND LIED TO HIM??? Anyway this snowballed but i figured that since there’s no way off the top of his head Lord Ras actually knows where arins parents are, but Arin really thinks Jay does know, so he’s become kinda obsessed with the whole Agent Walker thing, but what if now that means Ras and Arin have to track down jay too, so not only is Nya and Kai looking for him but possibly Ras and Arin too, or they might already know where Jay is, Ras could’ve sent him back to the shadow Dojo or somewhere, if Ras knew the rest of the ninja would follow Jay as claimed by the ninja, then wouldn’t he just have Jay lead them into a trap, enemy territory, etc?

Jaya in Crystalized that’s what consumes my head (the first 6 episodes specifically)

It’s the way that Jay went to the LIGHTHOUSE, because it’s a special place for them it’s the first place she revealed how she really felt to him it’s their first real heart to heart, it’s the way he has DOZENS of paintings of her! like oh my goodness i can’t. it’s the way he kept glasses of water nearby at all times so he could speak to her even if it wasn’t real, it’s the way he can’t function properly without her, and how when Nya went to the lighthouse later there were more of the floating letters in the room he was in, so he read more of them

Nya the whole time wandering around the ocean was like “i lost something” and “there was someone else” i choose to believe she was talking about Jay, it’s the way she got her memories back because she had read Jays name, and when she did get her memories back the first thing she did was go to the lighthouse, and she truly believed Jay was in there, she climbed ALL those stairs so she could see him, and when she goes back to Nyad to ask for a way back and Nyad tells her there is no way, then asks why she is said her very first words are “but Jay and Kai” like Jay and Kai were why she was choosing to go back, she then says her worst fear isn’t loosing her powers anymore it’s loosing her friends/family.

When Jay was not cooperating with anybody and was physically fighting with Kai the only thing that stopped both of them was Nya, then as soon as she is able to materialize the first thing is “Jay i need your help” because she knew he would do anything for her and the way he automatically ran to her side and said “what can we do just tell us” hadn’t even asked how she did that or where she had been it was how can we fix you to get you back we will do anything for you… ughhhhhhh that’s so perfect. Then while she’s explaining he’s listening only talking when she begins to melt away into a puddle and he’s just calling out her name as more of a reassurance or out of fear than anything else then when zane freezes her with no warning that is the first time jay takes his eyes off of her that entire scene and his entire voice dips when he asked what did you do, that’s his angry voice and then when zane does explain what he did jays first response “is she ok?” my goodness he was thinking about her well being the whole time. He then turns back to her and looks at her while explaining what she said then when Master Wu refuses to let Aspheera out, jay says “this is the closest thing we have ever had to plan to save Nya” but he says it stern and angry, if it had been anyone else he would’ve been more calm toward master wu

When they go to the Mayor to ask to free Aspheera, Jay interrupts Lloyd to say she’s the heart of our team and we thought we lost her like Jay didn’t have to say that she’s the heart of the team but he choose to compliment her in that sentence. It’s the way he looks at her while zane is continuing freezing her, he’s just staring at her the WHOLE TIME ,my heart. Then Jay is the first to say “I’m in” when Lloyd suggests BREAKING THE LAW for her.

And the whole part where their identities are revealed after breaking the law and Lloyds all like “Guess we’re the bad guys now” and they all just accept it?!?? no fighting at all that isn’t Jaya but i just thought that was sweet how Nya was more important than their futures

When the guys arrive after Nya almost melts through the floor and Jay looks so worried at her and i can’t with his face he’s terrified for her and when aspheera aims her staff at her he looks at her and only looks back when aspheera says revenge. Then when Nya is brought back she takes one breath and Jay who is UNDER PEOPLE is calling her name and running over to her and is at her side immediately and says her name more quietly this time. it’s the way she looks at him and just immediately cuddles up to him and jay just smiles and yells it worked while cuddling closer to her and the way Jay and Kai are just sitting with her when lloyd looks up and goes to get aspheera out. it’s the way that when lloyd returns and everyone is in handcuffs Jay and Kai are just smiling at Nya the WHOLE TIME like they are getting arrested and the new ninja are talking officially putting them under arrest and those two are not even listening and just staring at nya with a smile on their face and when they are being escorted out jay looks at her and says “take care of Nya. Tell her I love her.” oh my heart was not ready for that and the way when Master Wu carries her in and onto the couch the first thing besides “am i back?” was “where’s Jay?” let me tell you i broke, she was fully expecting jay to be there with her but he wasn’t because he couldn’t then when they are throwing the guys in the truck jay instead of freaking out like he would have said “ya, but we did it… Nya is home” with a smile and just closes his eyes that was i think the most at peace i have ever seen him like my heart those two are my definition of true love 😭❤️

i don’t think Jays amnesia is accidental or legitimate

here’s why:

Jay knows his name his full name, implying that he knew it even with memory loss, and you might be thinking couldn’t the agents just tell him his name if he didn’t remember? well no one in the administration seemed to know who LLOYD GARMADON WAS until they broke zane out, they didn’t even Acknowledge Zane as a ninja when they arrested him implying that they have no idea who THE HEROS OF NINJAGO are

He knows he had lightning powers but nobody else knows this, which also connects to the administration didn’t know who jay was before or they would’ve informed him of his powers themselves and he would’ve known that they knew but he makes it seem like it’s a bad thing like bad things happen to Elemental Powers so if that is true why would they put somebody in the administration knowing that they have Elemental powers?

Still has similar personality traits to before (video games) so the memory loss didn’t cause Jay to completely loose himself, he still holds the similar traits to before. this seems more like someone took out the people and things he was doing and not erasing him as a person? idk if that makes sense but when Nya and Zane got their amnesia they blindly trusted people, the first person they saw who told them things and they believed them and they kind of acted differently but also they had no idea who they were they couldn’t even remember their name, so it just makes Jays amnesia more purposeful and thought out

he can’t remember anything before the administration- now he remembers all of his life at the administration but not a single thing before that? Also this tells us that if he woke up at the administration with no memory why would they give him a guy who knows nothing but his name a good position like a manager? it just doesn’t make sense unless they brought him in specifically, and why nothing before the administration, what happened to his mech? Did it crash and if so how did he not remember waking up at the crash and going to the administration, did they take him from the crash sight? And Nya told Zane that the merge was years ago no matter how many years it’s been wouldn’t Jay had to have had some sort of memories come back like anything? a face? a single memory? a name?

i had this theory i posted about where he also woke up at a monastery copy because i think there’s more out there because he walked right into where Bonzle was with no backup, none. Why would they send in an agent alone unless he didn’t say where he was going and instead just went along with his muscle memory and he was going to where Bonzle came from too so he knew where he was going he did not look lost once.

My ending point: somebody or something erased Jays memories it wasn’t just an accident or a bump on the head and i think most fingers are point to the administration/administrator, because it’s just weird timing that it’s just the administration that he remembers along with just his name, it just kind of seems thought out like they wanted him for a reason or something. There are things about himself that he knows, he doesn’t seem to be having an identity crisis so it’s almost as if someone picked and chose which things he could remember and which he would have to forget like people and his previous life. All the agents seem like they have something off about them too, maybe it’s requirement that they examine people who they believe would be good agents and erase their memories and take them which is why nobody questions it, it’s just what they know. Or maybe the Administrator works for Ras too and gives Ras amnesiac Elemental Masters for him like where did Tox come from? and why does it look like she’s on the bad guy side now? Maybe Ras’ plan B was getting other elemental masters to fight for him in the tournament of sources instead of the Forbidden 5 and to do that he had the administrator provide them and erasing their memories knowing that they wouldn’t willingly help Lord Ras.

Anyway that’s just a few (a lot) of things i think about at night

I said this on a @jaya_walker_5 post on instagram a little bit ago but basically i had the best thought, so there's 3 known monastery's now after the merge, Lloyd woke up at the original one that we have seen known and loved, Zane at the second one under Imperium, and now a third one in the realm of Mysterium (idk how to spell it), so what if everyone woke up near or at a monastery copy, we don't exactly know where nya, cole (SPECIFICALLY we just know in the land of lost things and that the Finders found him (i think) and the place is huge it’s very possible that another monastery is just lost), or kai woke up at and they haven't been specific but it could have happened and on another note, how did jay when he found bonzle know that there were tunnels under the monastery, like maybe jumping on my previous theory that he woke up at that specific monastery (or another one) and already knew it was there or maybe he still remembers bits and pieces of his old life kinda like muscle memory, anyway i just strongly believe that wherever the ninja landed after the merge wasn’t a coincidence or accidental, somehow they were where they were meant to be or going to where they were needed (Lloyd to find Arin and Sora, Cole to defend the Finders, Nya to defend the Craglings idk how to spell that) but the point is what if there was something tying them to that spot they woke up at i think that would be really cool to look into

i had a dream about this y’all; do y’all think Nya sent voice messages to Jay? Like the way Wyldfyre does with Kai, i can’t even imagine how heartbreaking that would be. Could you imagine Nya just explaining how her day went in a voicemail or just saying the most heartbreaking “i miss you” messages ever hoping somehow it would go to Jay. i want to know how she’s coping with jay; zane is talking to a broom, Wyldfyre is sending messages to kai, jay when nya was missing was talking to glasses of water, and especially after seeing a vision of him that must be traumatizing for her even if it wasn’t true (to her) she must be coping in someway similar to that, even if it’s just having his picture in her pocket or going outside during a thunderstorm and looking at the lightning i want to see how she’s taking this all in
