its so fascinating that like. even when people want to draw transfem representation they cant wrap their head around what actual transfems WANT to look like. They're so fucking addicted to the idea that, even the "ideal" form of transfem, a form that depicts only the positive, is still a giant heavyset jaw, facial hair (always whiskers - so they clearly know that we dont LIKE facial hair and try to shave as much as we can), wide broad shoulders, no breast growth, et cetera et cetera.

If you’re gonna form a long term partnership with someone you should probably be able to tolerate each other while locked in a small box for a few hours

You may note with the aid of a map that many of these nations are quite large, and would take several days of travel to go across either in cars or on boats. Almost half of the world's population lives in places where you can travel in a cramped vehicle for days and still be within the country. Your worldview is limited and Europe is a tiny outlier in travel time and standards for international relations.
A big post about my Deltarune OC, Priestess Pianpian
Priestess Pianpian is a hypothetical chapter boss for the church world, specifically the Second Sanctuary, and was the Grand Piano / Giant Organ in the First Sanctuary
Every chapter boss thus far is a thematic parallel to one or more lightners, and Pianpian specifically pulls from Kris. Though this isn't an all encompassing parallel, Kris is a very juicy character with too much to unpack in this way. Pianpian specifically serves as a reflection of Kris' behavior earlier in the chapter.
In the dark world backstory, Pianpian was the religious leader of the Second Sanctuary, encouraging her followers to find their own meaning in the prophecy and the teachings of their ancestors. However, when inspecting the Last Prophecy and shortly after the Dark Fountain appeared, something about her perspective began to shift, and she became determined to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass, no longer accepting that it could have a meaning she hadn't considered. She began locking up anyone who might help the Delta Warriors progress, including the fire hydrant.
When Kris and Susie arrive in the Dark World, Pianpian initially appears to be an ally, holding great respect for Susie as the creator of her world and having just as much fondness to Kris, recalling the tune they had played on her in the first sanctuary. However, she is secretly leading them astray, giving them wrong directions and commanding her followers to block off certain areas and fight the party. However, the appearance of the Old Man Statue can often throw a wrench into her attempts to impede them, as Susie will prioritize following what she believes to be Gerson over anything else. Where the Old Man Statue is the pull of the progression, something the characters chase after, Pianpian is the push, telling the characters to go certain ways and leading them astray.
Kris and Susie find out the truth shortly before fighting the statue after little hints that she might be lying over the course of the second sanctuary had been building up. After meeting up with Ralsei and having their moment about Ralsei being more honest, the full party attempts to return to the fountain, where Priestess Pianpian confronts them and finally explains herself.
Despite only having interacted with them as the piano in the first sanctuary, she felt a kinship with the party and wished for their safety, but after learning the tragedy of the last prophecy, the very same Ralsei had been trying to prevent them from learning, she came to believe the only way to protect them was to keep them in the Second Sanctuary. Regardless of how you view its words, the prophecy comes true in one way or another no matter what, so her plan was to delay the prophecy indefinitely. Everything has to happen in order, so if they never seal her fountain and move on to confront the Knight, the prophecy cant continue, and its tragedy will never come to pass. The party is determined to face fate, determined in their belief that they can face the last prophecy together, leading to a clash against Pianpian to prove to her that they have what it takes.
Her motive and actions parallel Kris' earlier behavior, lying to Susie and Noelle, attacking the soul, for some unknown goal at odds with the party. Whatever it is, it's likely Kris thinks they have good intentions, or at the very least thinks it will be worth it, but is still willing to betray their friends for it. Pianpian forces Kris to confront their own actions on the other side of it, someone they should be able to trust as an ally, someone they thought was helping them, betrayed them. Over a door code all the same, no less.
And you can easily imagine Susie's poor reaction to the betrayal, even if Pianpian had good intentions. This also loops in to how this sanctuary reflects her mental state. An adult figure she thought she could rely on to help was lying to her and hiding the truth. Perhaps her own reaction to the betrayal and eventual forgiveness could be an early look at how she'll react to finding out about Kris. Or maybe reality isn't as simple as this fantasy, after all, I doubt Carol will back down as easily as Queen did. Maybe Kris won't be forgiven so easily.
Perhaps all this ends up being why Kris almost decides to go to Susie at the end of the chapter, seeing it all from the other side. That is of course, until they're reminded, they promised.
Some other smaller details about her character
She's designed to resemble Wicabel in her base design, seeing as they were born from the bells right above the piano she once was. The room Wicabels were initially first fought in has been repurposed as her boss arena.
Despite obviously resembling a bishop from chess, she wasn't made with chess theory in mind, it was an honest coincidence, though I do like leaning into it.
Pianpian only speaks in meter and rhyme, as if perpetually singing, occasionally her dialogue may be written as if lyrics to the track playing in the scene
In her battle, she uses an alternate form of Acts, called Conducts, where she calls in reinforcements from enemies to aid her in battle, using stronger variants of their existing attacks now that she's there to keep them on beat
In the dark world lore she's regarded as having been born in the final days of their ancestors, hence her recalling Kris playing the song on her to open the door to the fountain.
It's been stated by Toby that King's mind was influenced by the fountain and drove him into a frenzy, and that his behavior to Lancer and ferocity overall wasn't his normal behavior. Likewise, various NPCs in Cyber World say Queen used to be a kind ruler until the fountain appeared, causing her to become more extreme and obsessed with the Knight. It can be inferred Tenna's harsh contracts and crashout were also the fountain's influence on his mental state.
Priestess Pianpian's sudden turn and shortsighted plan to halt the progress of the prophecy were likewise caused by the fountain's influence on her mind.
Despite being the "ruler" of the Second Sanctuary, before the fountain opened she was less the type to give orders and more someone her community went to to look for guidance, a spiritual leader more than anything. It was out of respect for her that many Darkners went along with her plan despite her sudden change in behavior
The Winglade she uses in battle would also often be seen accompanying her in the overworld. In Castle town, she would be deeply saddened if Winglade was not recruited, as her familiar thusly did not follow her.

I've seen people say this is why he isn't a Secret Boss. If the Shadow Crystals came from tears, he never got one because no one would shed a tear for him. He has all the "qualities" of a secret boss, but because no one would shed a tear for him, he could never be one. Seam wept for Jevil, the Addisons wept for Spamton, Alvin wept for Gerson, if the Knight is Dess then the Holidays wept for it. But not a soul would cry for Ramb.
I really cannot believe that "what if kris is actually cis" is something that people in this fandom will just say and for some reason this one isn't actually considered misgendering
its so moronic because Kris is very transfem coded. the game practically screams that Kris is amab and transitioned to agender but acknowledging that would require this fandom to not be transphobic for 5 seconds
there should be more fan content where the lightners bring different darkners along for their adventures. what if they brought queen's laptop with them when they entered the church
you technically don't have to bring the computer lab stuff to castle town in chapter 2. so if you don't do that kris just has it on them when they make tv world. everyone from cyber world could be there.
I'm pretty sure actually if you try to beeline to the house, Susie makes you go to Castle Town? I might be misremembering, but once I tried to skip Castle Town to bring the computer lab stuff home, and the game didn't allow it.
I find any insistence that gaster encounter in deltarune would be "too confusing for casual fans" a little silly because like. even the most casual fan, the fan who's never seen even a single pixel of undertale, who boots up deltarune will immediately be confronted by the gonermaker sequence right. and they'll probably also see the same very distinct text show up on death screens/the knight fight/the chapter four credits and like. wonder who this mysterious voice is. so then if the Guy From Voice shows up and says Hi I'm Guy From Voice then I think the casual player is gonna be like ohhh okay it's Guy From Voice
like if the writing of this purely hypothetical gaster encounter did lean very heavily on the assumption that everyone playing already knows him because he is Gaster from Undertale then yeah that probably would confuse some people! but also why would that be what you assume would happen
