DEATH IS DEATH.
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA / SENTENCE STARTERS
from the musical score of phantom of the opera. PART 3.
❝ his eyes will find us there… ❞
❝ ____, don’t say that - don’t even think it. ❞
❝ why have you brought me here? ❞
❝ he’ll kill you - if he has to kill a thousand men. ❞
❝ my god, who is this man? ❞
❝ i can’t escape from him, i never will. ❞
❝ i’ve been there… ❞
❝ i’ve seen him. ❞
❝ how can i ever forget that sight? ❞
❝ in the night there was music in my mind. ❞
❝ my soul began to soar. ❞
❝ it was a dream and nothing more. ❞
❝ in his eyes, all the sadness of the world. ❞
❝ no more talk of darkness. ❞
❝ i’m here, nothing can harm you. ❞
❝ say you’ll love me every waking moment. ❞
❝ say you need me with you now and always. ❞
❝ promise me that all you say is true. ❞
❝ that’s all i ask of you. ❞
❝ you’re safe, no one will find you. ❞
❝ all i want is freedom. ❞
❝ say you’ll share with me one love, one lifetime. ❞
❝ anywhere you go, let me go too… ❞
❝ say the word and i will follow you. ❞
❝ say you love me. ❞
❝ you know i do. ❞
❝ i must go, they’ll wonder where i am! ❞
❝ and soon you’ll be beside me. ❞
❝ i gave you my music, made your song take wing. ❞
❝ how you’ve repaid me, denied me and betrayed me. ❞
❝ he was bound to love you. ❞
❝ you will curse the day you did not do all that i asked of you. ❞
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA / SENTENCE STARTERS
from the musical score of phantom of the opera. PART 6.
❝ down once more. ❞
❝ into darkness deep as hell. ❞
❝ the wickedness of my abhorrent face. ❞
❝ hunted down by everyone. ❞
❝ met with hatred everywhere. ❞
❝ no kind words from anyone. ❞
❝ why? why? ❞
❝ this is as far as i dare go. ❞
❝ have gorged yourself at last in your lust for blood? ❞
❝ the infection which poisons our love. ❞
❝ pity comes too late. ❞
❝ an eternity of this before your eyes. ❞
❝ it’s in your soul that the true distortion lies. ❞
❝ i think my dear, we have a guest! ❞
❝ i had rather hoped you would come. ❞
❝ free her! have you no pity? ❞
❝ i love her, does that mean nothing? ❞
❝ the world showed no compassion to me. ❞
❝ did you think i would harm her? ❞
❝ nothing can save you now. ❞
❝ buy his freedom with your love. ❞
❝ this is the choice. ❞
❝ the tears i might have shed for your dark fate grow cold and turn to tears of hate! ❞
❝ _____ forgive me, please forgive me. ❞
❝ i did it all for you and all for nothing. ❞
❝ say you love him, and my life is over. ❞
❝ no point in fighting. ❞
❝ either way you choose you cannot win. ❞
❝ do you end your days with me, or send him to his grave? ❞
❝ why make her lie to you? ❞
❝ ____, say no! ❞
❝ don’t throw your life away for my sake! ❞
❝ you deceived me. ❞
❝ i gave you my mind blindly. ❞
❝ pitiful creature of darkness, what kind of life have you known? ❞
❝ you are not alone. ❞
❝ forget me, forget all of this. ❞
❝ don’t let them find you. ❞
❝ promise me, you’ll never tell. ❞
❝ go now, go now and leave me! ❞
❝ you alone can make my song take flight… ❞
❝ it’s over now… ❞
❝ shamed into solitude. ❞
❝ i learned to listen. ❞
❝ i long to teach the world. ❞
❝ no one would listen. ❞
❝ she saw my loneliness. ❞
❝ no one but her. ❞
Thank you so much to @needapotion for doing this commissioned art for one of my ships for Minfilia, here! It’s so perfect and I would absolutely recommend Lowenael for commissions! They were so lovely to communicate with and I am AAAA.
This is a ship born from ffxivrp on twitter, with @garlean-nonsense. It’s an odd, odd crack/rare pair but I love them so much. Minfilia adores their Zenos endlessly, despite being so, so aware of all that transpired.
OC X CANON SHIPS ARE VALID AND GOOD LET US S A I L BITCH
To Dance with Pixies. || @daintycure. Starter call here for Min(i)filia.
Myriad of flowers (painted in crimson ichor—painted in the sun’s grace) brush against Minfilia’s ankles, as she twirls among the rolling plains of Il Mheg. The childish, wicked giggles of the fae-folk fill the air with their song. The dull beat of fluttering wings; the sound of it echoes in her ears. The duty of her LEGACY is carved within her beating heart. She remembers she remembers—SHE REMEMBERS.
Doesn’t she?
She remembers a world of little color. Stone walls breathing, fingers curled around the cold metal of the door. Her name called among the silence.
She cannot remember.
She is a little child, far younger than she is in these fleeting moments. Time is harsh, whispering of innocence lost.
She dances, and dances—a singing storm of white cloth and gold locks laced in pink ribbons.
Time stills as hands fall limp to her sides.
Her eyes of endlessly burning blue, fly open to be as wide as the moon.
Her gaze falls to the trampled, broken flowers as fingers lace together above her chest before she searches and searches for her companions.
❝ Thancred—... Nanapo! ❞
She did not mean to—
Horror, it digs its beastly claws into her heart.
Like for a little starter from Min(i)filia set in the Il Mheg saga.
The Last Unicorn (1982) starters.
❛ I dislike the feel of these woods. ❜
❛ Unicorns? I thought they only existed in fairytales. ❜
❛ This is a forest like any other. Isn’t it ? ❜
❛ Let’s turn around. Hunt somewhere else. ❜
❛ This is no world for you. ❜
❛ Good luck to you, for you are the last. ❜
❛ What do men know ? ❜
❛ We are as old as the sky, old as the moon. ❜
❛ We can be hunted, we can be trapped, we can even be killed but we do not vanish ! ❜
❛ Have you traveled very far ? ❜
❛ Be a little respectful, do you know who I am ? ❜
❛ Your name is a golden bell, hung in my heart. ❜
❛ I would break my body to pieces to call you once by your name. ❜
❛ In all your wanderings, have you seen others like me ? ❜
❛ Have you seen the others? Where have they gone? Tell me which way I must go to find them. ❜
❛ No, no, listen ! Don’t listen to me, listen ! ❜
❛ You can find the others if you are brave. ❜
❛ What if they’re waiting for me ? In need of my help ? ❜
❛ Well hello there little one ! ❜
❛ And just who might you belong to ? a pretty little thing like you ? ❜
❛ In my heart I carry such a heavy load. ❜
❛ And here I thought I’d seen the last of them ! ❜
❛ I know you. If I were blind I would know what you are. ❜
❛ You wouldn’t have heard of me. ❜
❛ It’s not much of a job for a real magician, but I’ve had worse. ❜
❛ You’re mine. If you kill me, you’re still mine. ❜
❛ Your death sits in that cage and she hears you. ❜
❛ She’ll kill me one day or another, but she will remember forever that I caught her, that I held her prisoner. So there’s my immortality. ❜
❛ You were out on the road hunting for your own death ! ❜
❛ He’ll not have you ! You belong to me. ❜
❛ We are two sides of the same magic. ❜
❛ You are safer here. You should thank me for protecting you. ❜
❛ There has never been a spell on me before. ❜
❛ It’s a very rare person who is taken for what he truly is. ❜
❛ Will you help me ? ❜
❛ You’re my last chance. ❜
❛ Can you truly set me free ? ❜
❛ I asked him a riddle and it always takes that lout all night to solve riddles. ❜
❛ the spell was wrong but there was true magic in it ! try again. ❜
❛ My dear you deserve the services of a great wizard but I’m afraid you’ll have to be glad of the aide of a second rate pickpocket. ❜
❛ Okay, (name), I give up. Why is a raven like a writing desk ? ❜
❛ She’ll kill you if you set her free ! ❜
❛ Don’t look back, and don’t run. ❜
❛ You must never run from anything immortal, it attracts their attention. ❜
❛ She chose her death long ago. It was the fate she wanted. ❜
❛ You have no regrets as I do ? ❜
❛ I’ve never seen anyone like you. Not while I was awake, anyway. ❜
❛ I’m going where they are, to learn whatever they know. ❜
❛ Take me with you ! for luck, for laughs, for the unknown. ❜
❛ You could never have granted my true wish. ❜
❛ I cannot turn you into something you are not. ❜
❛ Hide yourself ! We’ll find each other later. ❜
❛ Mind your heads now, it’s raining ninnies ! ❜
❛ Put me down you fool ! ❜
❛ I don’t like the look of him. ❜
❛ That’s only (name)’s way, but she has a good heart. ❜
❛ This is not happening. ❜
❛ We’ll both be gentlemen of leisure in a months time. ❜
❛ Oh, I love you. ❜
❛ She shall never have you ! ❜
❛ We will perish together. ❜
❛ Did you see me ? Were you watching ? ❜
❛ Did you see what I made ? ❜
❛ It’s gone now, but I had it ! ❜
❛ Where have you been ? Where have you been ! ? ❜
❛ Where were you when I was new ? ❜
❛ How dare you come to me now when I am this ! ❜
❛ It’s alright, I forgive you. ❜
❛ You can’t come with us ! we’re on a quest ! ❜
❛ Well, you’re going the wrong way. ❜
❛ You have all the power you need if you dare to look for it. ❜
❛ What have you done ! ? ❜
❛ The power will come to me whenever I need it, and one day! One day it will come to me when I call ! ❜
❛ You are an idiot ! ❜
❛ Don’t ! Don’t you hurt yourself ! ❜
❛ I can feel this body dying all around me ! ❜
❛ You are losing my interest, and that is very dangerous. ❜
❛ I will keep nothing near me that does not make me happy. ❜
❛ How would you know ? ❜
❛ Well, just look at you ! ❜
❛ Come on, I’ll write you a reference. ❜
❛ You have let your doom in by the front door ! ❜
❛ What are you looking at ? ❜
❛ What is the matter with your eyes ? ❜
❛ You may come and go as you please. ❜
❛ My secrets guard themselves, may yours do the same. ❜
❛ Please, let me help you. What can I do for you ? ❜
❛ And then she looked at me and I was sorry I had killed the thing. ❜
❛ For her sake I’ve become a hero but my great deeds mean nothing to her ! ❜
❛ I wish to be whatever she has most need of. ❜
❛ You are cruel to him. ❜
❛ He only wishes you to think of him. ❜
❛ Who am I ? Why am I here ? ❜
❛ I knew a moment ago, but I have forgotten. ❜
❛ I was innocent and wise and full of pain. ❜
❛ Now that I’m a woman, everything has changed. ❜
❛ Why won’t you help me ? Why must you always speak in riddles ? ❜
❛ I would tell you what you want to know if I could. ❜
❛ I am always dreaming, even when I am awake. It is never finished. ❜
❛ I would court you with more grace if I knew how. ❜
❛ Drown out my dreams. Keep me from remembering whatever wants me to remember it. ❜
❛ Words are always getting in my way. ❜
❛ That’s all I have to tell you. That’s all I’ve got to say. ❜
❛ I’m not a man of poetry. Music isn’t one with me. ❜
❛ As if I didn’t have enough troubles. ❜
❛ Well of course you’re of noble birth, anyone could see that. ❜
❛ Love is slowing you down, my lady. ❜
❛ It was pleasant enough at first, but it died quickly. ❜
❛ There is nothing of yours that I desire. ❜
❛ There is no movement of yours that has not betrayed you. ❜
❛ I like to watch them. They fill me with joy. ❜
❛ The first time I felt it, I thought I was going to die. ❜
❛ Do you dare still pretend to be human ? ❜
❛ It makes no difference. The end will be the same. I can wait. ❜
❛ Shut up you pretentious kneecap ! ❜
❛ How would you like a punch in the eye ? ❜
❛ It’s so nice to have someone to play with. ❜
❛ Try me tomorrow. Maybe I’ll tell you tomorrow. ❜
❛ Give it to me if you don’t want it but don’t throw it away ! ❜
❛ Give me the wine ! ❜
❛ You would have gone without me ? ❜
❛ No name you could give her would surprise or frighten me. ❜
❛ I love whom I love. ❜
❛ I will go no further. ❜
❛ Everything dies. I want to die when you die. ❜
❛ Yes, that is my wish. ❜
❛ I am a hero, and heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen. ❜
❛ A quest may not simply be abandoned. ❜
❛ A happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story. ❜
❛ What if there isn’t a happy ending at all ? ❜
❛ There are no happy endings, because nothing ends. ❜
❛ Do something ! You have the power ! I will kill you if you don’t do something ! ❜
❛ That’s what heroes are for. ❜
❛ I’ve never had any friends before. ❜
❛ Men don’t always know when they’re happy. ❜
❛ I’m sorry. I have done you evil and I cannot undo it. ❜
❛ No sorrow will live in me as long as that joy. ❜
❝ I live without the sunlight. ❞
Minfilia’sgaze settles on the face of the other. Her lips pressed tightly together; sealingher compassion (threatening to spill like blood in a dance of CARNAGE) inthe hollow of her throat. She does not embrace sorrow, the nothingness of it. It’sa dark thing, that haunts. It settles on her shoulder, whispering, andwhispering of mistakes and the designs of fate.
Iknow the fate of those who live without light.
Hasshe not seen it? Eternal hunger, teeth bared for something larger than life—darknesslaced within crooked, broken fingers. Hope, both an illusion and an unbrokenpromise, is the light consuming.
Hasshe not seen it? The despondency of men, throughout the hollow city of Ul’dahin the ever-burning plains of Thanalan when dark falls.
Theyhardly knew hope nor Her grace at all.
Minfilia’sgaze finally falls the sandstone floor of the solar, slender fingers lacing together—thetip of them, gracing her forehead when hands lift. She counts down from tenbefore a soft exhale—hardly heard, leaves rosy lips.
❝My heart cries for you. Such a sad existence you must live, and I feel sorryfor you, ❞ She says, sorrow lacing it’s cold, unseen hands around her throat. Among this ruin of herbody, hollow and carved in light—she wishes to howl. Instead, she smiles (soWRETCHEDLY). ❝ I pray you do not meet a horrid fate. Towalk the path shrouded in shadows, with little light from the sun’s love—…Oh.❞
Herwords fray, rotting into silence. The stale heat stifles her voice. Her postureis straight, hands falling loosely to her side. She swallows naught. The tidesof words, that loom to drown her—with cruelty.
Theseas of Minfilia’s eyes, hardens into stone as her smile fades into nothingness.
❝F o r g i v e m e. ‘Tis yourchoice to make. You must forge your own path and adore it. ❞
Abrief pause.
❝You will always have an ally in the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, wanderer. ❞
When your boss opens up to you and only you and you have to clutch your sword in gay panic
I want to calm down, to rest, to outlive this nonsense.

Can you fight god?
Tagged by: No one.
Tagging: You! Yes, you should you wish to do this.
For the Love Starer Meme: "You could stay here, with me."
FOR THE MEME I CANNOT FIND // NOT ACCEPTING.
Desolate lands, free from the caressof life; the green, green, GREEN ofgrass and towering trees, dead, withering and gone much like the corpse of herfather. She thinks of him, ofttimes. It is a small thought, wriggling, andwriggling until it is bigger than what should be. The stars hanging among thedark nothingness of the sky—the beauty of it, twists all she is. She remembers.
A little girl, Ascillia—weaving through thestreets of Ul’dah ‘neath the night, dancing, a basket in arms, filled with flowers resembling the endlessnessof the Ruby Sea in its blooming blue. Her laughter is as high as ringing bellsof churches. Warburton, tall and alwaysregal, reaches and reaches to tuck a flower among locks of sunlight. Her grin /so bright / children’s smile always resembled the sun in their unfettered joy.
Poor Warburton.
As a child, she always saw him as regal / for hewas Atlas. Such was the burdens weighing broad shoulders down.
She understands now. The world sings and sings into her ears / Hydaelynsings. The world, bittersweet and sundered / her shoulders break underneath itsheaviness. Her fingers dig into the dirt of the dry land of no hope; Ala Mhigo. She is at home. It is a bittersweet triumph, thrumming in veins.
The war is won.
Why / why /WHY DOES HER HEART CRY?
Youcould stay here, with me.
Minfilia isdrawn from her waking dreams, eyes flying open as she swallows naught at all. Zelenia’ssaccharine talk of (springtime) tenderness, turns her head. She cannot speak/ the words she wishes to let free are stuck betwixt the cage of her teeth andflesh. She finds shame blooms on her skin, in its dreaded crimson.
She wantsto stay.
But shewishes to flee, too.
Too manymemories flood, dancing across her vision. Burdens. She draws a maskonto her visage, and smiles / AND SMILES. The cage breaks, her words flooding.
❝ Of course. The stars are beautiful. There is nary a sight of clouds. ❞
