After Hollow Mind, months or maybe years later, Hunter finally asks about his lineage, but it’s not an easy question. Eda only knows so much about her ancestor, Evelyn, when the witch and witchlet realize something shocking

-visited the human realm using a family heirloom (key/necklace) for human antiques

-likes adventures and sews her own clothes after such quests tear them up

-married caleb, they have matching owl rings

-showed him the isles, helped carve flapjack, and taught him very rudimentary glyphs (when they were still a thing)

-pregnant when he was killed, buried him and the key

My idea of Lilith’s Owl Beast Curse, the “Raven Beast”, for my AU Beasts. Main differences of the actual original form:

-Slightly bigger, longer claws and tail (like in the show)

-Looks more like a raven with sleeker feathers

-Face is a bit “angrier,” and the beak is more protuding compared to a barn owl’s flatter beak

-And obv color palette

I struggled with ALL OF THIS. At first I wanted to keep the Owl Beast’s general shape, but it seems to differ in size w/ Lilith than with Eda. Then I wasn’t sure if I should change the beak, then.. everything else

That said I still had a lot of fun! It’s interesting trying to take what little we saw in the show and create an entirely new “Beast.” Wish we got to see more of the Owl Beast’s past, but hey, that’s Disney’s fault
