I know i’m gonna piss some people off but I need to speak my truth.. timothee chalamet is a loser

you know back then they didn’t use to romanticize the past
Look at what is happening to us now.
Please stop for a minute and read this. Please stop browsing the internet and sharing the things we dream of seeing in Gaza. Stop doing things we can't do, and stop filming and sharing a life we once lived and have been deprived of.
Share what's happening to us in Gaza right now. Share what we're living through. I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a sick body that can't bear all this pain, from a truly agonizing reality. Look at these pictures... This is the scene we woke up to today. Rainwater flooded our tent and everything we own, turning our lives into a constant struggle. Rainwater seeps in mercilessly, and the cold wind lashes at our bodies day and night. This is no longer shelter; it's a source of danger and pain.

As for me, my condition is worsening. I am ill with a persistent high fever, severe anemia, and constant nausea, which is exhausting my body and limiting my mobility. I urgently need to purchase my monthly medications.
My need for donations now is not a request for luxury, but an urgent need for life. I desperately need to buy my monthly medication, which costs 500 euros, so that I can recover from my illness and live without pain like everyone else. Please stand by me, please donate.
Justifying land ownership and the creation of a militarist, apartheid state in Palestine on the basis of an Iron Age kingdom is so bizarre that it defies belief. It's a similar logic to that used by the Germans to excuse their genocidal colonisation of Eastern Europe ('Germanic tribes were here c. 100 BCE, therefore Slavs deserve to be ethnically cleansed'). To say it's an abuse of history is an understatement. It's a case of the interests of a modern state and its ruling class being engraved onto the past through emotive myths. And like all mythical projections, it by design frees state power from all limit. Every piece of land becomes an object for future conquest and exploitation. Every brutal act of Might is converted into Right against the backdrop of King Solomon, the Temple, Judea and Samaria, and all the other racialised fantasies of colonial killers.
What seems to elude people is that the evils of apartheid and genocide are not conditional. Apartheid and genocide remain as such, no matter the rationale. Episodes selected from the slaughterbench of history do not magically transform, in some alchemical process, modern systems of subjugation and exile into acts of purity and goodness. The ancient injustices of the Roman empire do not justify the continued militarised brutalisation of an entire people, let alone one, like the Palestinians, that are themselves the descendants of those the Romans colonised. Only a warped mind and a debased heart would seek to find in a mythologised past an excuse for racist tyranny.

His statements and actions concerning the subject are framed as him not being afraid. But he is. He is afraid of what he has become, afraid of confronting himself, afraid of confronting the world, and he is afraid of having to live.
He should not be brave enough to die. He should be brave enough to live.
u see this too when he is faced with the “knots and tangles” present in affc. changing is difficult, balancing your values is difficult, struggling to make incompatible things compromise (so many vows). actually confronting these dilemmas is difficult. ilyn, an executioner, was his silent partner in feast, and now he is heading towards the ghost that is an embodiment of his sins really: the walking dead woman who he is trying to keep his oath to.
