Update!

Hello lovelies, 

I thought it was about time to do a bit of an update because a lot has changed!  So, I'm not a server any longer. I quit a week in because it was super lame (pay wise, staffing, etc). No love lost.

I'm currently working as a butcher's assistant. It's actually pretty ballin' and my boss is probably the nicest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  I'm still hoping to get something a *little* more suited to where I'd like to end up (therapist or something in history), but I'm content for the time being.

I'm feeling super positive lately. Obviously not every single day, but most of the time. Steve and I are moving in January to a place that will hopefully help us save a bit of cash-ola! Super excited to actually have money to do real things... like real people! A concert? Sure! The ballet? No problem! So excite!

I'm selling my baked goods! I've sold 8 boxes thus far and it feels very surreal. Maybe I'll actually have a shot at baking for a living.... weird...

So that's my update. I'm totally unprepared for Christmas, but I'm looking forward to hanging out with my family!

Edit:  I am also having a SECOND wisdom tooth surgery in January, because they left the top two in the first time and now they're causing problems... Fucking teeth, eh? Oh well. Let the healing begin - bring on the ice cream!   Also, low blood sugar. Wtf eh? That's why I've been sick and throwing up and shit! Argh. Body. Why you do this to meeeeee?

First Day

Today was my first day at my new job; a server at a 5 diamond restaurant. I'm so excited to be working there and I had a wonderful morning. And then I had lunch... Beautiful chicken caesar wraps and spinach salad. I had water to drink. Five minutes later I threw up three times into a sink near the coffee/tea station - as I was meeting my other manager for the first time... So that happened. I got sent home (obviously - health and safety, etc) and my stomach is still going crazy. I did tell them I have a profound impact on my work environments. Shock, awe, and horror probably weren't what they were hoping for though.

Oh well. At least no one will forget me ;)
