so i can’t stop thinking about when june told nick she wanted to name the baby holly, after her mom, but IMMEDIATELY being like “i mean, if that’s okay” BECAUSE

(1) i love love love that she wanted him to have a say in it, that she made sure he knew his opinion is important when it comes to holly too, that this is a decision they need to make together

(2) it’s adorable that she thought he would push back on the name. she could have straight up been like “i want to name her thor” and he’d have been like “i love it” because he denies her nothing. like, dude was gonna let her leave in his car from the boston globe with his gun, he literally cannot tell her no. she calls all the shots and i love it.

(3) HER SMILE AFTER HE SAID IT SOUNDED RIGHT. she was so so happy he loved the name. she only smiles like that in gilead for nick and holly and i’m just. i’m overwhelmed
