I'm done with my third project for my poster design class. This time, the project was to make a poster for a museum. We had to pick from a list provided by the professor, and I chose the British Dental Association Museum.

I used toothpaste to hand pipe out the toothbrush structure and the name of the museum for the poster. I had to work very fast with photography, because the toothbrush would start to sink under its own weight.

This was a very different and fun project.

I never would have guessed when I entered the program that the piece that I would choose to represent me had to do with a competition in England where contestants pelt each other with eggs.

This poster series is for my poster design class. We were told to pick a nonprofit and make a poster series for them. I chose BecomeAnEx, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people quit smoking.

I'm expanding upon my Egg Throwing World Championship pictograms for my Portfolio Review class. First up is this app, which is supposed to allow anyone to see how the games are going and who is winning. 

I will also be working on a poster and t-shirt design for this project. More will be coming soon.

This was done for my digital illustration class. The project was to make an illustration for a book of our choosing, so I chose Divergent, since it was the last book I read.

So, here I've uploaded the illustration as well as the final book cover. This project was a nice change of pace and actually pretty fun.

I feel the need to say that I hate .jpegs because they totally ruined some of the colors upon conversion. The colors are much better in a .pdf and on paper. I didn't origionally intend to put this on the internet, so some of the colors are not exactly fit for the web and we get results like that purple.

Also, I do recommend Divergent as a pretty fun book to read, especially if you're the type of person who liked Hunger Games. It's a pretty easy read, since it's young adult fiction, but has a pretty compelling story.

If you don't want to to take my word for it, I will say that John Green has also recommended it before.

This project was done for my typographic design class. The assignment was to take photos in a specific environment of objects to use as letter forms and then make a poster for the place where the pictures were taken.

The site I chose was the San Marcos Public Library, I decided to make the poster focus more on their children's section, so I chose a more whimsical illustration style.

These are my logos for a homeopathic pharmacy company. I worked on and expanded on the most widely received logos of my original 50 I presented in class.

These are the logos for the current class project I'm working on, which is to create three logos for small businesses outside the state of Texas. The companies I chose are all based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Egg World Championship Pictogram Roughs

The assignment is to make a set of pictograms for a type of competition. I chose the World Egg Throwing Championships. The events are (left to right) Target Throwing, Egg Throwing, Trebuchet Challenge, Static Relay, and Egg Russian Roulette.
