i 100% believe ozian rpf of glinda the good and the wicked witch of the west exists and i believe glinda is very aware of it's existence but a good 80% at least is like smut that's like oh glinda is so very pure and innocent and good and she would never dream of doing anything so dirty and the wicked witch is so obsessed with her beauty and goodness and simply must have it for herself and have her way with glinda and glinda can't help but give in to such wicked ravishments so glinda hates that shit because (1) elphie wouldn't do that and (2--and this is the important one) glinda the good is not a fucking bottom stop assuming she's a bottom

this is less of a real critique but it also made me a little sad that we didn't get the big dramatic "GREEN!!!" (deafening orchestral score comes in) bit. I know it wouldn't have really translated to the way they did the scene but I've always loved that moment of the main nomtw motif blaring

also having fiyero meet elphaba first and fall for her was so... odd? like I'm the last person to gaf about fiyero but doesn't that kind of get rid of his whole character arc. what's even the point if he likes elphaba from the beginning

anyway I looooved glinda's ozdust dress so much and liked her nomtw dress and morrible's one blue dress. but the rest of the costumes were kind of underwhelming (although maybe that's just me setting the bar too high, since the og costumes are one of my favorite things about the whole show) (but still. choices were made that I disagree with)
