i don't know if you're able to answer this or already have, but do you have any advice on internalised aro/acephobia (or know someonewho does)? i've been struggling with it a lot because it feels like all my peers are only interested in romance and sex and i just feel like i'll be alone forever

While I don’t have any specific advice for internalised aphobia, my advice for any internalised shit is to just find your community honestly. Start talking to aspec folks online, follow aspec blogs, consume media with aspec characters and create your own, legit just begin to find your community and you’ll slowly learn how to be proud of yourself

I had SO much of this when i first came out, i’m just talking from experience hear- i’m oriented aroace- i was like “no one will ever be able to love me the way i need to be loved” (i’m sex and romance repulsed but gay in terms of teritary attraction) and you’re so not alone, there are so many aroace people! (feel free anyone to dm me about aroace stuff!) You just need to remember that there ~is~ someone who will love you the way you need to be loved  and you will find them. AND if you’re loveless aroace then that’s totally valid too! and if you don’t ever want to be in a Relationship then you gotta remember that doesn’t make you any less of an amazing human, maybe try and find an aro or ace (or both) community irl or online and yeah. I don’t know if this is even helpful but i can promise you you’re amazing and you won’t be alone forever and you’re never anything less just because you’re a-spec :)
