should we talk about how segye kissing seori's inner wrist wasn't his original plan..... when they're still sitting down he grabs and holds her right hand in his but once he counts down to three he goes straight for her mouth.... so he specifically decides to kiss her wrist only after she grabs him to stop him from leaving.....
i've seen some people say he was (once again) asking for her consent and it makes sense in a way because one could argue he wanted to make sure /she/ was 100% sure of her move in that moment once and for all? because once they lock in it'll be for life. i still think the main consent bit was mostly in the original countdown though (also consent in this case is maybe a bit tricky to debate since we're not fully sure of just how sober seori is at this point dkdnksjd like she’s definitely far more sober in this scene than the ones before it but that's a conversation for another day)
i've seen others say he specifically kisses her wound following the vulnerable moment they share in the woods just before which is another lovely interpretation as well even though he doesn't necessarily kiss the exact bandaged wound on the bottom left of her palm but kisses her inner wrist... which also just happens to be a pulse point as well btw…..
a third (and far more insane) interpretation i think has to do with what seori's arm/hand represents in this romantic push and pull journey of theirs. she grabs him with that arm to hold him back and stop him from leaving (her) potentially for good given this is his third official attempt at confessing his feelings. it's with this hand that she finally allows him access to her heart (the one he declared to be his prime target in the episode right before). it's a form of consent yes, except it’s not just consent/permission to kiss her but truly to cross over the walls she has built all around her heart and soul.
segye kissing seori’s inner wrist of the arm with wich she reaches out for him is almost him showing gratitude? and maybe even relief? because she’s here! and she’s alive!! and she’s /finally/ accepting his affection and reciprocating it!!!
interestingly enough, that hand is also the same one seori places on segye's heart to help him /clarify/ his confusing romantic feelings for her (granted this is most likely because the actress is right-handed but we move kdjdkdke)
ultimately one could argue he did it for all of these reasons (and maybe many other more as well)
(there’s just something Very Poetic about this whole thing but i’m just not smart enough to properly articulate it into sentences that make sense unfortunately)
