“  don’t  !  ”  a desperate outcry,       one that goes cruelly ignored as his face; devoid of makeup as he’d believed himself to be safe  (  how ironic  )  ,  is grabbed harshly and without any regard for the discomfort and pain that it caused.  and  not  just  because  it  was  such  a  severe  violation  of  his  personal  space  ,        though that certainly didn’t help matters; but also because his scars were such a horrid reminder of his past,  AND  ONE  THAT  HE  COULDN’T  IGNORE  OR  WIPE  AWAY  ;  NO  MATTER  HOW  MUCH  HE  WOULD  DESPERATELY  TRY  TO  .  it certainly didn’t help that, no matter how much time had passed; the scars were still so jagged, painful and poorly healed.

“  let  me  go  !        ”  he pleaded; on the verge of tears.  how  pathetic  ,  especially  when  compared  to  his  previous  self  .

young  Jack  Napier  is  a  meek  and  unimposing  little  boy  ,  with messy brown hair and dirty hazelnut eyes. very seldomly is he paid any attention,        in fact; he slips through the cracks more often than not.  NOW  IS  ONE  SUCH  INSTANCE  .  he’s managed to slip away from his father, and wander off           to where exactly? he wasn’t really sure.

not that he really minded,       he felt far more comfortable in an entirely unfamiliar setting than anywhere close to his father.

nothing  made  that  more  obvious  ,                than just how easily he approached the other girl;  FOLLOWING  THE  DEPARTURE  OF  WHO  HE  ASSUMED  WAS  HER  MOTHER  THAT  WAS  .  adults terrified him.

now,       Jack was also a nosy little boy; and he couldn’t help but notice how upset she seemed to be.  obviously  ,  he  couldn’t  let  that  stand  .  “ Hey, ”  the boy started,        a rather cheeky smile spreading across his face. 

          “ Don’t listen to her, nobody who looks like they applied their makeup in the dark could possibly have anything worth listening to ”.
