GOD MADE TRANS PEOPLE FOR THE SAME REASON HE MADE GRAPES BUT NOT WINE WHO ARE WE TO DENY THIS DIVINE ALCHEMY OF THE SELF?
A first person account from a medic in Minneapolis. They have asked to remain anonymous. This is a copy-paste.
OK so Iâve decided to type this out instead of making a video so please be sure to read through it all thoroughlyďżź
I went to the protest today in Minneapolis specifically to provide first aid care for anyone injuredďżź in the chaos. My shirt read first aidďżź and I spent the entire time I was there providing first aid and medical treatment to anyone injured, maced, or pepper sprayed. I also handed out supplies like facemasks water, and snacks to anyone in need of themďżźďżź. While I was there I witnessed some very horrific things. It was nothing short of a war zone. One man was hit in the head with a flash grenade that blew out his eardrum and knocked him unconscious. ďżźLater that day I grouped up with a team of volunteer first aid providers and medics to better provide and care for anyone injured during the protest. One of the volunteers, a licensed medical professional, told me that she was macedďżź ďżźwhile providing care in the field to a downed civilian despite announcing that she is a medic and sitting on a curb. Wearing a nurse uniform and nonviolent in every way...yet she was still attacked by police.
Unfortunately it wouldnât be so unbelievable for long as within the hour we got word that police were coming around the corner. We had to set up a medical area with a sign stating that anyone could receive medical care or first aid at that location in the well lit alleyway and were completely separate from the protests happening in the street. We were in the middle of treating a woman when the police attacked us. They fired rubber bullets at us, hitting one of the volunteers twice, and maced us despite the shouts that we were medical volunteers and providing first aid. They chased us down the alleyway and into a parking garage where we hid behind a car for 20 minutes as they rode up and down the road in front of where we were located. They found us though and eventually drove us out of there too which is when we left. They had taken our medical equipment and gear and driven us away from where we were needed most. I heard from someone else later in the evening that they had maced a medical tend that had been set up as well in another location.
This is not meant to draw attention to me. I am posting this because THIS needs to be shared. The police are out of control! This is why the protests are happening! Attacking medics is a crime. We were not violent. We were not in their faces. We were not harassing them or taunting them in any way and werenât doing anything wrong but they still opened fire on us and treated us like less than human.
This is a time for EVERYONE to stand up and fight these injustices. I for one will not sit idly by while the police are allowed to treat human beings this way. I will be going back tomorrow to continue helping and aiding injured protesters and civilians who need our help and making sure they get the first aid care they need. I will keep everyone updated on what I see and what happens out there and please stay safe yâall!

idk if Iâve posted about this before but by far the strangest things thatâs happened to me in retail was the time someoneâs total came out to my birth-year and I said âhey! thatâs the year I was born!â and then the next customerâs total came out to like $12.57 and just bc Iâm a weirdo I said âhey! thatâs the year I was born!â and without missing a fucking beat this like, 70+ year old man said
âAh! Another like me! Weâre few and far between these days, arenât we?â
And I was like oh man this guyâs sense of humor really aligns with mine! And I laughed and made some other joke about being immortal and thought that was the end of it,
but this man.
He stood by the register for five more minutes. Maybe more. Which let me tell you is an EXCRUTIATING amount of time for something like this to happen.
And he just kept upping the ante!! He starting talking about some REALLY specific details regarding day-to-day life in the 1300s to the point I started getting worried that Iâd misled a genuinely immortal being to believe I am also immortal.
He eventually politely left when I got too busy with other customers to awkwardly respond.
Who the fuck was that guy.
I think itâs also important to mention this happened at Cracker Barrel.
You met an immortal duh

See Iâve seen like 600 variations of this meme and I gotta tell you a Story.
The year is 2012. Â Itâs Christmas. Â Itâs the first year my sister and I are both home from college, and weâre feeling kind of nostalgic, so we take out the old family photo albums to remember everyone from times past. Â Weâre all on the couch or the floor with hot chocolate and the Dog is curled up under the tree. Â Itâs all very Norman Rockwell.
Weâre going through my Momâs side of the family, laughing at the pictures of Grandma putting wrapping paper on the dog, and grandpa pulling faces at the camera, when we find an old brown envelope.
âThe fuck? says my sister, because sheâs been in to Great-Aunt Lizâs Rumballs, and I open the envelope. Â Inside are four tickets to the titanic, unused, and Mom tells us the story of how her ancestors ALMOST came over on the Titanic, but Great-Aunt Liz got the measles and forced everyone into quarantine, thus saving their lives.
The OTHER thing in the envelope are seven Photographs, dated 1890. Â They are of my Great-Great Grandmother.
They are nudes.
They are NOT tasteful nudes.
Like, these are Violating-Terms-Of-Service-On-Most-Platforms- OBSCENE.
GGG had these taken waaaaay back in ye olden days, in order to convince her wayward husband to move back to England after he ditched her to party it up in Chicago.
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW FUCKING HARD WE LAUGHED. Â Like, I think I passed out I was laughing so hard.
So yes, people have ALWAYS been like this, and your nudes will make for a hilarious family Christmas someday.

Am I Thinking Critically?
Most of us have deeply held beliefs and opinions about the world that we feel justified in defending without thinking critically about what conventions have led us to believe them. I drafted this quick list of questions to cause you to think critically about an issue (i.e ethics and morality in pornography, womenâs reproductive rights, gay marriage). This is short and doesnât even begin to cover a comprehensive method of analyzing belief systemsâŚ.so feel free to add more!!!
1. Who taught me to believe this? 2. Is the person who encouraged me to believe this in a position of power over me or are they a peer? (i.e a parent, boss, or teacher versus a coworker, friend, sibling) 3. Who/what group of people is the most widely known supporter of this belief? 4. What would the proponents of this belief stand to gain from my enforcement/complacency in this belief? 5. What would they stand to lose? 6. Who is harmed from this belief? (Think VERY hard before answering âno oneâ- most contested issues throughout history put at least one group at a disadvantage/directly harms them socioeconomically/physically/emotionally) 7. Have I pursued both sides of this issue in a reasonable, open manner or have I been too upset or frustrated to consider new ideas? 8. Are peopleâs safety, bodily autonomy, basic human rights such as food, clean water, freedom to express their own opinions at stake in my enforcement or complacency of this belief? 9. Am I using logical fallacies/propaganda/stereotyping/âbuzz wordsâ/slurs/threats to enforce this belief? (In my own thoughts and out loud) 10. Do I believe most of the same things of my friends/family/colleagues/social media tell me or do I challenge the status quo and think for myself by doing my own research and seeking unbiased information?
So could a Dracula wear a cross if they either donât know about Christianity or they were to make the cross unholy some how?
Yes. Thatâs my theory about draculas wearing Templar crosses. You meet a dracula and youâre like âdude⌠how and why are you wearing that?â
âWhat?â he asks, looking down at his blouse.
âThat cross!â you say.
He frowns. âYou mean my plus sign? Thatâs not a cross, itâsââ
âItâs a cross,â you say. âRemember the Knights Templar? Yikes! Nowadays itâs used by white nationalists and hate groups. Youâre not some kind of neo-Nazi freak, are you?â
âNo!â he cries, struggling to undo the pendant. Itâs already starting to burn him. âGet it off! Get it off! Help me!â Red-tinged tears begin to well in his eyes. You help him remove it.
âI thought it was a math thing!â he wails as it clatters for the floor. âI love addition, you know⌠I thought it was just a fancy plus signâŚâ
What if the vampire had a different religion? Like a Jewish vampire? Would it be able to touch a Star of David? Would a cross still burn them? What about an atheist vampire? Or is is just not knowing what those things were? What about a pentagram? Cause technically itâs a symbol of religion? I have a lot of questions
The vampireâs personal beliefs are unimportant. All that matters is that the holy symbol is recognized as holy to some religion, and that the vampire is made aware of this.
An agnostic gentile could present a gentile vampire with a Magen David and the vampire would be like ââŚisnât that a Jewish thing?â
âYes.â
âAre you Jewish?â
âNo.â
âOh. Well, is this like when people thrust crosses at me? Does it hurt me?â
âHonestlyâŚ. Iâm not sure? I donât know enough about Judaism to say whether or not this should repel you.â
ââŚWould it be religiously insensitive of me not to be harmed by this? Or would it be more insensitive of me to assume that it would work the same as a crucifix, thereby interpreting Judaism from a culturally Christian perspective and treating the religious symbols as simply interchangeable window dressing?â
âThatâs a good question. I think you should let me leave your castle so that I can ask a rabbi and come back with the answer.â
âYes, that does seem to be wisest. Go, and hurry back! I eagerly await the verdict.â
this implies vampires being burned by crosses is a psychosomatic reaction
