in this folder, there's ten psds created for the shows: reign and the tudors but they should work across any period drama with dark or yellow/green lighting <3 just remember to always adjust the curves (and channel mixer if necessary) to suit the lighting of the scene
a lot of these are pretty basic colourings, and some are pretty similar but these are the ones that i use the most often!
i thought that some people might benefit from these actions so i'm sharing them here. these are pretty generic sharpening settings, but i hope you find them useful.
action 01 | regular sharpening: works well with most gifs, pretty much the default sharpening settings
action 02 | noise sharpening: i use it mostly for kpop music videos, it gives the gifs a nice style, while helping the quality look better.
action 03 | smooth sharpening: if you want to go for a dreamy feeling, this is a great way to do it. i also find it useful when the quality of the footage is not great.

hi! could you please make a tutorial on how to select scenes for blending gifs?
truthfully, there isn't going to be a single tutorial out there that will teach you how to pick the perfect scene every time for blending gifs. each show/movie is different, lighting is different, movement is different, etc. there are, however, some general guidelines for better results:
fairly dark scenes usually work well together. when blending, i almost always use screen (occasionally lighten) and you'll get better results with two darker scenes than, say, two brightly-lit outdoor scenes
similar lighting/coloring scenes tend to mesh well together rather than scenes with polar opposite lighting or environments
the less movement, the better in your scene/subject. the more movement there is, the more you're going to struggle with layer masks and key frames and just general coloring.
i highly recommend checking out the blending tutorials tag as there are some tutorials that go a bit more in depth on scene selection as well as showing you why certain types of scenes do and don't work.

i've seen quite a few people who don't know about this, but you can actually get t*paz plugins ( including 'clean' ) for fr/ee on windows + mac on their website, along with other legacy plugins. here's the link ~ clean is under their classic plugins. so enjoyyyy ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ♡) ~
unfortunately, i'm unable to help if there are any issues with d*wnl*ading it, so please refrain from asking in my inbox :( from what i know it is safe as many of my friends + mutuals have gotten theirs from that website (which to my understanding is the official one), but still exercise caution.

Hi, I came across your colouring challenge and your colouring is amazing and was wondering if you wouldn't mind explaining how you show the dark/light patches on the same gif to show the before and after. As i'd like to give it a go myself but i don't know how to do that part.
hi! i would recommend checking this tutorial out. it's basically done through layer masking all of the colouring layers :)
Hi, can you please tell me where to find overlays like this one? /hisources/710151228179578880/harwinstrongs-spring-headers-by-harwinstrongs Thanks.
hello! i made a few textures similar to those. you can also find more textures and overlays like that on freepik. you can search for “botanical background”, “floral background” or “leaves background”. hope it's helpful :)
