Lark is Andrastian, or she was before Veilguard. As a Crow, she has contracts that weigh on her and her usual custom would go to the chantry before and after to pray. This is a very private and personal ritual.
After everything she went through in the regret prison, she sought comfort in the chantry but felt absolutely nothing. There was no stirring in her heart, not after finding the truth of the world’s origins.
That regret prison took everything from her, even her faith.
Out of frustration or grief, Lark wrecks the Chantry, she despises it. It was this incident that led Viago ( and having to pay for damages ) to the decision to send Lark away and not have her be put on contracts.
He is the one who sends her on a journey towards healing because god knows she isn’t getting it in Treviso.

Lark tries so hard to be okay post Veilguard, she really did try, she smiles and laughs in front of people but when she’s alone, she’s sad…yet she can’t stand the idea of anyone seeing her sad.
She doesn’t want to burden anyone, so she puts on a mask and pretends she’s okay. It’s a MacTavish family trait bc Eden does the same thing.

canonically, unless otherwise stated that we have an established ship, Lark does not romance anyone in Veilguard, there was times where it was close, but she always pulled away, and after being trapped in the regret prison, Lark does not have the capacity to be in a relationship.
Post game, she doesn't know what's real anymore or what could be the fade, she still feels trapped in the prison, and when she sleeps, she is trapped there, alone. It's part of the reason why she decides to travel around Thedas, that's why she throws herself into wanting to rebuild things. She is too restless at Treviso / Salle, she can't remain calm, and thus she cannot go on contracts because she is so anxious. So Viago puts her on a sabbatical--a non killing contract he drafted with the blessing of the other factions for Lark to be able to go help them.
Lark is hoping by helping the factions rebuild, and meeting her family in Starkhaven, she can get over these delusions and move passed the trauma she endured.
if you compliment lark's freckles, she will spend the rest of the day thinking about it.
