Okay hear me out,Imagine when both Erik and Charles arrive in genosha they’re both unpacking in their new house and they’re both going through boxes of their stuff and they find the wildest stuff in there,like Charles finds one of Erik’s old mug shots and in the most exasperated voice ever goes “love,why do you still have this?” And he just holds up the photo to show him and Erik is all amused about this and just shrugs “sentimentality I guess,it’s also a reminder of why the American government should leave me alone.” And Charles honestly can’t help but agree/be amused at that.

Meanwhile Erik finds some of Charles old pdhs and while he’s always been aware Charles had some degrees and pdhs,he’s never known for what exactly,he’s always assumed they had something to do with mutant genetics and things of the sort.But when he actually finds some of his old degrees he finds one in psychiatry and he’s just like “Schatz,why on earth do you have a degree in psychiatry off all things.” Charles just responds by saying “whatever do you mean darling.” Meanwhile Erik just gives him a look “Do I have to spell it out for you.You are a telepath,why on earth would you need a degree in psychiatry?” Charles just shrugs and mumbles about how it was easier than the others,than Erik just says “oh yes,I remember raven told me about your days at Oxford,she also mentioned how you loved to spend time with the college co eds,especially the girls.” He says it in a teasing manner but there’s a hint of jealousy in his voice.So Charles being the complete ass he is just gets really close to him(like kissing close) and just says in a hot voice“well you’re wrong you know,it wasn’t just the girls as you well know.” Charles gives him a onceover and steps back,because you can’t expect me to believe that these two lived together without any sort of sexual or just tension in general.Anyway they keep going through the boxes and eventually Erik finds an old picture of Charles and his mother when Charles was about 6/7 ish,and after the relentless teasing Charles was subjected to Erik genuinely asks about his mother and why he never talks about her.Charles just shrugs and says he and his mother were never close and he even jokes about how when he met raven he knew it wasn’t his mother because she could never be that kind.And Erik is shocked at this because he could never imagine such a horrid person raising such a good one,he tells Charles that and Charles can’t help but smile at that.

can we finally have the conversation about how erik’s gay montage in apocalypse of charles from first class, telling him that they need him and that he’s necessary is not really what happened? I mean, they did have a conversation in which charles convinced erik to stay & help but erik’s memory added something to what charles was saying.

Dusty Styles + Ted Tomlinson

Wow.  I didn’t realize so many people didn’t know about this adorable, yet cringeworthy point in time.  I have received so many questions, so I thought I would make a larger post about it.  To my knowledge, since the accounts have long-since been deleted (anything you find now on Twitter or Facebook is run by fans), around December 31, 2010, Harry made a Facebook and Twitter account “for his cat,” Dusty Styles.  At the same time, Louis made accounts “for his dog,” Ted Tomlinson.  This was right after X Factor finished up, and if I had to guess, around the time the boys officially started dating.  The accounts were most likely made because they had to delete their real Facebooks due to X Factor fans finding them.  They thought they were being sly by pretending that Dusty and Ted were in a relationship, a cat and a dog.  Yes, these accounts were real and run by Harry and Louis.  Their mothers, sisters and friends all friended, followed and interacted with them.  The boys had no idea how big they would become or that their fans would essentially be the FBI, so at the time, I am sure it seemed like a great idea.

Wow, Harry.  Buying flowers from your cat for Louis’ dog is really committing to this story isn’t it?  But honestly, Harry bought flowers for his new boyfriend and that is so damn cute.  But he also made this fantastic video (and this is the last time I will be posting it!):

The video only has 41,000 views after all these years, which is low compared to most Larry proof videos, so I guess it really was not common knowledge.

They had been dating probably a month or less and they were saying they loved each other and wanted to be together forever.  Let that sink in.

This is both beautiful and so sad.  Two-ish months into their new, sweet, relationship and they already knew there would be obstacles.  This is honestly as sweet as the AIMH tweet.  It is reassuring.  Also, once again, they were talking about FOREVER.  Baby boyfriends fell hard.

Here is some proof that the accounts were real and run by Louis and Harry.  Jay, Louis’ mom, interacted with them quite a lot:

Why Larry’s Closeting Didn’t Work (and Ziam’s Did)

If you’ve peeked your head out today from the safety of the blanket fort you hopefully built to withstand this fandom as it consumes itself like a confused praying mantis post-coitus, you noticed that today’s hot topic was Liam landing a twelve-page spread with Attitude magazine.

Attitude, for those unaware, is a British gay men’s magazine. Already articles covering the upcoming issue have been published which discuss the idea that Liam Payne himself might be queer. 

But, psh, never mind that, right? Mostly what you’ve been seeing if you’ve erroneously chosen to stare into the abyss that is the One Direction fandom today is people upset by the notion that the “clearly gay” members of the band were not chosen for this opportunity. They feel hurt. They feel that the queer community is, once again, being passed over for a straight person.

Which, to be fair, is kind of the story of modern media. It’s easy to see why people feel betrayed and annoyed. Definitely.

But ignoring the fact that Liam, y’know, placed higher on Attitude’s reader poll of 2015′s Hottest Men than the other lads and thus was a more market-savvy choice for the magazine to make, there’s a base assumption underlying the above gripe that should be addressed: these people assume Liam is straight.

So we’re gonna talk about that, about the concept of Homophobic Bro-Dude Liam (along with his suspiciously close friend, Troubled Bad Boy Zayn,) which was sold to the fans so effectively that, even now, people cannot see past those manufactured images to the people that lay beneath.

Whiiiiiich is about where we ride into Controversey Town, known for its stunning sunsets and the way people who live there tend to think both Ziam and Larry are real.

Hey listen. The fact that Larry’s closeting is largely considered a total failure should be a big tip-off to you, my blanket fort-ensconced friend. It should tell you that people seeing through that closet, and not the one around Ziam, is an indicator of how much better Ziam’s closet was constructed. 

If you can humor that thought for just a biiiiit longer, then cool. Glad to have you here.
