There was the first time, when he'd been in the RAD council room, which had only been slightly disruptive. Seeing the jealousy on his brother's faces had been worth the bruise. Then in the library- he didn't mind that one at all. It was a nice to have you all to himself while everyone else scrambled to find the two of you. The implication that, even though Simeon betrayed Lucifer during the fall, he can't find it in himself to hate him because that was once his brother, but no matter how aloof and cold Lucifer tries to appear, it's not enough because he still cares, and it hurts him.
And he thought he could get away from it because he was in hell and didn't have to see any of the angels again. He could just run away and act like he didn't miss Heaven and the other angels.
But then Diavolo starts the exchange program, and he's forced to see one of the angels that he was the closest with almost daily.
So, in an attempt to distance himself, he renames their chat to "Brothers no more."
It's a reminder for both him and Simeon that the bond that they had can't be remedied.
And even now when people point out that Cerberus seems to like Simeon even though Lucifer tries to make it seem like he himself doesn't.
Or Simeon says, "I love you."
He runs away because he knows that if he acknowledges it, he'll be forced to face the fact that he misses his brothers, and that hurts too much for him to think about because he can't have them back.
