Your voice echoes from the kitchen as you approach Heejinโs bedroom after you have packed her snacks. Itโs the third day of kindergarten and you know sheโs excited to go back. You spent the entirety of last night listening to her animatedly talk about her friends and the big sand box and that her teacher has sunflowers on her desk everyday. Heejin had proudly declared that her Dada calls her that, and you recall the blush on Jungkookโs face at the story.ย

Youโre about to ask one more what but you reach the door in time to see what she means. There, seated on the floor in front of Heejinโs little dresser, is your husband and the pigtails on his head. Heโs grown his hair out a bit and your daughter has been enjoying giving him the same hairstyle that he does for her. On her first day, she wanted simple - just matching headbands. Yesterday, they both had flower clips. Today, you see that sheโs gotten a bit bolder with the hot pink hair ties and the man at the center of it doesnโt seem to mind one bit.ย
โTa-da! Dada and I look alike now, Mama!โ Heejin declares, laughing when Jungkook peppers her face with kisses as he thanks her for his look.ย
โYes you do, bubba,โ you smile, holding your laughter in because Jungkook, as handsome as he is, looks adorable. โHeโs pretty just like you. Now why donโt you put on your coat so he can take you to school?โ
โOkay!โ She squeals, scurrying to the living room.ย
