Latch | Blaize & Lill (closed)
Blaize had spent the last two months wondering how he’d gotten so lucky. Lill didn’t have to forgive him. He hadn’t had to forgive her when she returned to town, but he had. He knew that even if it had taken time, that she would eventually do the same, too. He hadn’t had to wait long, though. For that, he was eternally grateful. Because he didn’t know if he could have survived very long without her.
His point was proven when he felt lips against his neck, and then woke to the sound of her voice. He let out one of those sleepy groans as he rolled over and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him. He buried his face into her hair at the curve of her neck and took in a deep breath, “I’ll wake up if you promise that we don’t have to leave the bed.”
His hands moved over her back, tracing every curve of her body that he knew so well, “I’m so glad to be home.” He’d said it every morning that they’d woken up like this. A smile spread across his face as he placed a kiss to her shoulder and then down her arm before dropping his head back on the pillow in front of her. He brushed his nose past hers as he continued grinning. “I love you Lilliana Carson.” He’d never get enough of saying that. Ever.
She smiled as he finally began to stir, she would never ever get tired of watching him wake up, although in most cases, he woke up before she did. Letting out a short giggle as his breath tickled the hairs on her neck, she nodded immediately at his stipulation. "You better bet I don't plan on leaving this bed ever again, Mister." If it weren't for the whole needing to eat and work and survive thing, you know.
She let out a soft sigh as his hands moved over her body, her spine tingling as his fingertips found her sensitive spot. As he breathed out the words he said nearly every morning, she knew that this right here, laying here with Blaize, was perfection. There was absolutely nothing in this world that could top this. She couldn't stop the grin from forming on her lips as he kissed her body. She wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled herself closer to him. "And I love you, Blaize Williams. I always will." she added, her eyes looking deep into his so that he knew, that with every fiber of her being, she meant the words she was saying.
Baby, I will be loving you till we’re seventy. Baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23. And I’m thinking ‘bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways. Maybe just the touch of a hand. Well, me—I fall in love with you every single day, and I just wanna tell you I am.
So honey now, take me into your loving arms. Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars, place your head on my beating heart. I’m thinking out loud, that maybe we found love right where we are.
Look how beautiful he is
You lift my heart up when the rest of me is down You enchant me even when you're not around If there are boundaries, I will try to knock them down I'm latching on, babe, now I know what I have found
I feel we're close enough I wanna lock in your love I think we're close enough Could I lock in your love?
Now I've got you in my space I won't let go of you Got you shackled in my embrace I'm latching onto you
Latch | Blaize & Lill (closed)
It had been a little over a month since the Halloween Fest. A little over a month since Blaize had so miraculously come back into Lill's life and a little over a month since he had turned her life upside down. Sure, the pain of losing Aunt Marge was still there... nothing could ever really get rid of that pain, but with Blaize back in her life the sting wasn't quite so crippling. In fact, with Blaize back, life itself wasn't so crippling anymore. When she woke up in the morning, usually with Blaize laying beside her, she actually had to convince herself that she wouldn't simply float up off of the bed, she felt that light.
This morning was no exception. As light flitted into Blaize's room, slowly creeping its way towards the sleeping bodies laying on Blaize's large bed, Lill stirred. Stretching out, her fingertips brushed the window at the head of the bed and she smiled. Lill loved how quaint Blaize's bedroom was. Not only did it make it impossible for her to roll off the bed, which was a likely occurrence considering how much she rolled around in her sleep, but it also meant she got to be as close as possible to the man that she loved and that was definitely a bonus.
Rolling onto her side, she turned to face that very man, the man that she loved. A smile immediately lit up her face as she watched him sleep. To think a little over a month ago, she had been angry at him for leaving her and even angry at him for coming back to her unannounced. She'd yelled at him and hit him and he'd simply stood there and take it, apologizing over and over again until Lill collapsed into his arms, crying from the roller coaster of emotions. It was laughable now that she thought about it, the way she'd reacted to him. Further evidence of the fact of how messed up life had made her. Since then, she'd had nothing but gratitude for the fact that Blaize was back in her life. Complete and utter gratitude.
And lots and lots of love.
Snuggling in closer to his warmth, she burrowed into the curve of his body. She placed a kiss to his neck, "Wake up." she whispered, looking over at him adoringly. She kissed his cheek and then his nose, impatiently encouraging him to wake up with each kiss. "Wake uuuuup." she murmured.

He's Gone || Colton & Lill
A soft laugh escaped Coltons lips at her words. Him too good for her? In what universe was that even possible? “Can I get you saying that on record? I might have to show it to a couple of people. And actually, it might be a useful alibi someday,” he added, a teasing grin on his face now. “Honestly, Lill, you know damn well it’s the other way around. You’ve done a lot more for me, especially when it comes to Bryce and Charlie…and not killing Caden every time he gets near my bike,” he added, a hint of mischief in his blue eyes now. Honestly, Colton wasn’t entirely sure what he’d do without Lilliana Carson in his life. For once, he was okay with not knowing the answer.
"Like I said, you’re welcome to stay as long as you need," he assured her, leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on the top of her head before continuing, "but once you figure out what you’re going to do, mind giving me some tips? I need to pass down words of wisdom to Claire, Caden and Cal." While he was mainly joking, a part of him really wasn’t. Hell, Colton was thirty years old and he was still trying to figure out what the hell he was doing with his life. Whoever said age brought wisdom was obviously not a Belfront.
Silence over came them after a moment, the sound of heavy rain hitting the windows filling the room. Without moving too much from his spot next to her, Colton reached for the opened bottle of whiskey before raising it to his lips and taking a swig from it. One bottle was never really enough for him and Lill, especially during situations like this. “You’ll be okay, Lill. That much I do know.” And he’d be there to make sure it happened. Now matter how long it took.
She rolled her eyes at his teasing and shook her head, scrunching her nose at him. "Nope, and if you tell anyone, I'll totally deny it." she teased right back, nudging his check with her shoulder. "And besides, as far as Bryce and Charlie go, you know you're doing me more of a favor than the other way around. I'd definitely steal them from you if it weren't, you know... a criminal offense and all." Having Bryce and Charlie around to look after had done the impossible with Lill. They had managed to take a girl without a single maternal bone in her body and make her the girl who snapchatted Colton pics of adorable toddler outfits begging him to let her buy them for the twins. If she ever had kids, which didn't look like it was going to happen anytime remotely soon, she could only hope they'd be like Bryce or Charlie.
Her eyes closed as he pressed his lips to her head and then leaned back against him. "Believe me, you'll be the first to know." she said with a small, hesitant smile. She wasn't entirely convinced she'd ever know what she was or should do with her life, but if she somehow magically figured it out, she was fairly certain it would be with Colton by her side. He was her rock. The one who'd be there to let her rant and rave, be there to get rip roaring drunk when things just didn't make sense, and occasionally be the one to stem the loneliness that so often threatened to overcome Lill at night. Yes, if she managed to get the magic formula to life, it would be because of Colton.
They sat in comfortable silence for a while until Colton spoke again. Lill smiled again, ready to move on from her pathetic life. She was strong. She was independent. She didn't let anybody see her cry. And yet, that's all she'd been doing since she arrived at Colton's. Although, he was one of the very few people she would let see her in this state, that didn't mean she liked it. She didn't like appearing this weak. She reached forward for the other bottle. "And we've got Mr. Jack Daniels here, to make sure that happens!" she agreed, a mischievous grin on her lips before taking a long swig from her bottle.
And games that never amount to more than they're meant Will play themselves out
Falling slowly eyes that know me and I can't go back Moods that take me and erase me and I'm painted black You have suffered enough at war with yourself It's time that you won
Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice you had the choice You've made it now
Falling slowly slowly sing your melody I'll sing along
