Hi I'm Sorrel, and I've run out of ideas for a cool intro post. As stated I will be screaming into the void about the life series and its ships, mainly boat boys/smalletho and desert duo/scarian. I'm also a certified Watcher lore enthusiast, everything is about the Watchers to me.

I mainly watch Grian, Scott, Martyn, Etho, and Joel's POV of the Life Series (though I have watched a good amount of Cleo, Gem and Pearl's episodes and I have watched all the winners POVs), so that's the stuff I'm most familiar with. I'll watch everybody's POVs someday but today is not that day.

Obviously I'm mainly into the life series, but I'm really trying to make S11 my season for being up to date on Hermitcraft (I'm currently up to date on Grian's S11 and watching Etho's). I have only watched parts of Grian's 6, 7 and 10, and Etho's 10 so I am definitely far behind on the lore. I don't follow any other SMPs the gang have done, though I have plans to start watching Lizzie's Empires and finish Vampires.

I'm a smalletho and scarian girlie first but there are other ships I like too and I've made a fun little list. If it's not on here assume I don't ship it. That being said, I also love platonic dynamics a lot! Talk to me about any platonic dynamics!

I don't want to be perceived by you in this context and you probably don't want to know what I have to say about your Minecraft character.

IF I MADE A WEIRD POST: I like to put on my conspiracy hat about this series for fun and joke around about how benign things have to be a coded reference to the lore or fanon or whatever. It's all in good fun and I know that's not the intended meaning the majority of the time. Being an unhinged fangirl is just fun for me and I do in fact realize the obvious reason something happens is usually the only one.

Martyn: I'll tell you what, actually—one of the times where we weren't last, um, during, uh...during Sardines, was because—it's pitch black, but people were allowed to use their phone screen, but on a really low brightness level. Because we played it last year, and people were using the torch on their phone—you can basically just see the room, you might as just play normal hide and seek, you know what I mean? Um. So because it was only the phone screen, people would sort of come in and do a gentle shine with it. So I just lay on the floor, in (through laughter) my-in-in one of the bedrooms, and just put my legs up like this (demonstrates), like, both legs really high, and just was like this (continues demonstrating with his arms), like, just fully spread eagle, uh, on the floor.

Martyn: And Ren walks in, and sort of like, goes, (mimicking Ren) "oh, wonder if-wonder if anybody's in here," (normal voice) and he turns the light on, and just sees me spread eagle on the floor. He bursts out laughing, and then I then hear behind me loads of the rest of the room start laughing. I had no idea anybody was in there. So I just-I-yeah. So I basically managed to—what was in the form of a prank, um... manage to actually find the people.

Martyn: It was literally, legs up here either side, and then my hands through the middle, as if to say, like, "pick me up." (he laughs) I just wanted to do the most ridiculous pose I could. And then just see who happened to stumble upon me.

Grian just magically deciding he wants the top of the observatory to be purple after he's "never really worked with purple before." He's never escaping the Watcher allegations.

Watcher lore is so funny it's like an ARG except the guy making the ARG isn't actually making an ARG the fans are just insane

Grian saying it's really important he gets his observatory ready is giving me anxiety. What do you need it for, what lore do you have planned?!

I keep seeing so many people be like " Grian HAS to be buffer than Scar, because he canonically beat him in a fist fight!" SCAR WAS PURPOSEFULLY NOT HITTING GRIAN. Watching his POV of the cactus ring in slowmo, you can see that every time Scar's crosshair even got NEAR Grian's hitbox, Scar jerked it away. He hit the air around Grian, as Grian stood still, but he couldnt stop the battle, Grian had to keep fighting, even if Scar wasnt. If I counted correctly, Scar only hit grian SEVEN TIMES, and Grian hit Scar TWENTY TIMES. Scar isnt stupid, or bad at PVP, he wanted to let Grian win. And that was clear, from how he rarely jumped to crit Grian, but Grian did it too many times to count. It didn't matter how much stronger Grian was than Scar, Scar let him kill him. He didn't beat Scar, Scar allowed him to win. If he wanted to win, Scar would've.

GIGGS playing DnD is everything I ever wanted actually. Everyone has the absolute perfect character descriptions going on. Scar and Impulse are a wizard and dwarf on purple ofc, but GRIAN WHY ARE YOU PLAYING A CLERIC. I know everything is Watcher-adjacent to me but still, must his character be watched over.

I binged all of Grian's Hermitcraft 11 today, and in his section with Joel where they're talking about armor stands, Joel specifically points out that he did one of himself and Etho on the Titanic.

You also did at least one of Lizzie, and yet that's the one you feel compelled to mention. Ok, yeah, sure Joel. That's so normal and makes so much sense.

I'm still very behind on life series episodes due to a camping vacation and my college move-in prep, but I just saw Scott's thumbnail for episode six and I feel SICK. WHY ARE YOU CO-OPTING THE BOAT BOYS PHRASE OH MY GOD. THE IMPLICATIONS! Is Scott trying to be Joel for Etho to get closer to him? Is Etho trying to make Scott into Joel because he misses him? Is it a petty jealousy thing? Is it a bit that I'm definitely going to take waaay too seriously? One of those has to be a yes.

Don't reblog this with episode 5 or 6 spoilers for at least a bit please.
