Asami Sato, age 6. It's been a month since the break in and passing of her loving mother, but life must go on, she knows that that would be a wish of her mothers. It's okay to miss someone so special though. [Indie RP blog of The Legend of Korra fandom, will RP with others though and OC's. Nothing posted is mine unless stated otherwise.]

Korra looks up cutely at them too, hoping that would help win them over. “I promise to be good.”

"Yes!" She jumps into the air. "That is so awesome, right Asami?!" She turns to her, with a huge grin on her face.

She does and walks close to the other girl, “So, what are we going to do when we get to your place?”

"I have some neat toys and dress up stuff, or we could watch my daddy’s cars race."

"Your dad has a race track? Cool! Can we watch it after we play?"

"Sure we can! He might even let us go for a ride!"

"That would be so awesome, will he really let us?!" Korra says with much excitement, wanting to be at her place right now. It must be just as cool as she thought it was in her head.

"Sure! My daddy and I drive around all the time!" The building was coming up, just another corner to turn and they'd be at their destination.

I Wanted Better For Us

  "So…." Her baby lips quivered, she couldn’t bare this horrible truth or to look her older self in the eye. "Does that mean…Does that mean I don’t have a mommy or daddy anymore?" Green eyes watered up and she sniffled up at Asami. "I’m all alone…?"

Asami shook her head, running a hand through the smaller girl’s hair. “You will be alone for a little, but I promise it won’t last long. Even though we lost Daddy, we gained a new, interesting family. You’ll make friends who would never leave and you’re going to fall deeply in love.” 

She didn’t want to reveal too much because then what was the fun in experiencing all those things she had just mentioned?

"It’s going to be okay."

Tears flowed down her cheeks, her small hands bunched up in a fist and came up to her eyes to try and stop them. All the while she listened to her older self. 

She perked up at the mention of romance. Books she had read were filled with romance and it left a great impact on her, dreaming big dreams of her own about finding the one she loves. "I...I get all that? A new family and everything? Even the love part?" That made her smile.

Her green eyes looked up, "You promise? You promise me this is true?" Asami held out her pinky finger.

"That’s true….but I still have to find them, going home without them means daddy will be worried and he’ll send out a search for me." But he’ll also be angry with me when I return.

"We can find your guards first then. Unless you don’t want to right now?" 

Somewhere in the distance Asami heard her name, and then a group of men spotted her and ran over to her. “Miss Sato! You’re in big trouble young lady!”

She pouted cutely at them and apologized, winning them over with her sweet face. “This is my friend Korra, can she come over and play pleasseee?”

Korra looks up cutely at them too, hoping that would help win them over. “I promise to be good.”

"Pleeeaaaassse!" The group of men discussed this while they continued to beg and pled. They agreed that her father would be happy that she’d have some company. That way he wouldn’t be bothered when working.

"Yes!" She jumps into the air. "That is so awesome, right Asami?!" She turns to her, with a huge grin on her face.

"It’s super awesome!" She leaped and twirled. The guards were pleased to see Asami so happy and instructed that the girls stay close. 

She does and walks close to the other girl, “So, what are we going to do when we get to your place?”

"No. Daddy doesn't like it when I mess with his stuff, but sometimes I help out in the factory."

"I'm the star student! It's hard work, but I'm actually liking it."
