Reaction images on your dash

aaaaa i haven’t seen a post like this before so i figured i’d make my own? i hope a few people would find this useful cuz i don’t think everyone knows yet! anyway here we go:

Anything between 300-539 pixels width will be stretched to 540!

So 299 is the magic number to avoid tumblr blowing up your reaction images! What I also do is just set my canvas to 540 pixels and draw within that, if I think 299 pixels will be too small.

Of course, this only applies to the website and not the mobile app.

if tumblr makes an image stretch, there’s a way to revert it back to it’s intended size!!

click the gear symbol at the top right of a text post and go down to html

in the image file, it’ll say “tmblr-full”. you can change that to “tmblr-hires” and your pic won’t be blown up!!

Fandom Dream: I dreamed that Eska and Desna were students at some super-exclusive private school (and Desna insisted on wearing the uniform with the skirt, much to Unalaq’s dismay).  And Bolin was there on a scholarship, and of course, since it was my dream, Bolin and Eska got into a relationship and Eska got pregnant.

✌ - a memory of a relative

Korra watches Desna and Eska lower a rug full of snow bags onto the floor.

“What you doing?” she asks, crawling atop the unoccupied throne while the adults drink tea in the dining hall and discuss issues too mature for five and seven year olds. 

“A funeral.”

The Avatar doesn’t particularly like visiting her Uncle, because the palace is too big in comparison to her home in the South, and her cousins are always… well, being themselves.

Korra makes a face and they counter it with double stares, until she finds herself growing defensive of her play-pretend skills. Two against one isn’t even fair!

“Well, you’re both boring,” she retorts, scrawny arms folding across her chest. 

“I go to war, I kill all the enemies, I make a statue of me… but I don’t play funerals. That’s weird.”
