"I think I'm being stalked."
MC slowly raised a brow, placing her smoothie down on the table in her kitchen, watching as you paced back and forth. "You think?"
"I can feel it." You muttered, biting your thumbnail. "It's like, whenever I'm out, I feel someone's gaze on me, but I don't see anyone when I turn around."
"How long has this been happening?" Your twin asks, expression smoothing out to be serious. A stalker was nothing to take lightly after all, and with you not being a Hunter like your sister, it would be difficult to defend yourself if it came down to a physical attack.
You sighed, rubbing your face as you moved to sit on top of the table, crossing your legs together. "It's only been two weeks, I really only started to get super worried like, yesterday." You pout at your twin and reach out to take a cookie from the plate in the middle of the table. "Can you get your coworker to be my bodyguard or something?"
"Xavier?" MC blinks, then hums in thought, cupping her chin. "You know, that's not a bad idea-"
"i was joking. I don't want any of your boyfriends near me."
"i don't have multiple boyfriends [Name]!" MC huffs, smacking your arm, making you wince and look to the side. "Uh huh, are you sure they don't think the same?"
Poor MC. She hasn't seen the looks of pure longing on each of the Male Leads faces.
The reason why you didn't want Xavier to be your bodyguard was mainly because you didn't want to disrupt anything that may be going on. You did share the same face after all.

You had already told yourself that as long as they were happy, you were happy. You weren't MC after all - not in this new life - you were still and would always be [Name].
You had to keep reminding yourself that. You can look at the menu, but you better not order.
"Maybe stay at my place for now." Your sister pipes up, making you focus back on her. She glances to the side, where a small gun stood on the counter separating the living room and the kitchen. "Until this stalker goes away anyway."
You shook your head. "Nah, it's fine." You jump off the chair, stretching your arms above your head. "It's probably nothing to be honest-"
"Nothing in this world is probably nothing." MC interrupts.
". . . Look at you Little Miss Motivational Speaker."
"But really, don't worry." You give your sister a small smile. "I'll be fine. It's honestly just paranoia because of all the Wanderer attacks that have been happening. Trust me."
You honestly couldn't tell if this situation was worse than a wanderer attack.
A soft dark tail swayed in the wind, ears twitching in response to the sound of the slipper you had been holding in your hand.
What did you literally just say!? You didn't want to get involved with any of the characters because you didn't want to ruin or disrupt anything.
So you take a step back, and the man (wolf, your mind whispered into your ear) leaped off your balcony and cracked his neck by moving it left and right, the pops his neck filling the silence. He takes a step towards you
Until your directly face to face, your back against the wall and his breathe near your face.
