EXTREMELY risky post but after researching Lois and Jimmy for about a month I do not think Lois deserved that much time, also I think she got the same time as Jimmy before the csam charges. I think its weird to judge someone's sentence based of remorse, sure you want to make sure they wont do it again but in reality most dont feel remorse and just show it because they got caught and want a lesser sentence, Lois and Jimmy didn't care. (obviously a sign of depression, other mental illnesses, etc) they didn't care how they would end up, thats one of the most concerning parts. obviously what they did was terrible but they're CHILDREN. not to mention, DEPRESSED MENTALLY ILL CHILDREN. Last I heard it was 20 years...what the fuck. they're also not aloud to talk to each other or use electronics to my knowledge. that would make any young teen go insane. with teen s like that, taking everything that gave them purpose? in 20 years they might do the real thing because of how badly they're treated, obviously we know the legal system isn't great already but still. for what they planned and did Lois for sure did not deserve 20 years just for condoning and helping slightly. when you are isolated from everything you love just for going with your friends bullshit that fucks you up. there were clearly signs of mental illness and I would even say something more severe for Jimmy, considering the planning and stalking. obviously I dont like either of them but Lois didn't deserve that much time and they both deserve help. they got more time than the average child r.pist, of course I know about the material on Jimmy's phone but we are specifically focusing on the main event. the legal system doesn't handle mentally ill children well and something needs to be done about it.
