I’m still struggling my way through the episodes right before Marineford and it’s really forcing me to realize that Luffy is my favorite character in the crew, not anyone else I’ve claimed is my fave. For FUCK’S SAKE, they can’t have Frank spill his guts to Matt in a heart wrenching retelling of what set him down his path of retribution during what Frank thinks are his final moments & then have Matt & Karen hold hands & kiss in the rain in what is the most blandest & least dynamic pairing possible in that show.

Matt & Frank have more chemistry beating the shit out of each other & random goons while covered in blood for what amounts to an hour of screen time than Matt & Karen have had in all their interactions throughout the damn series.

Seriously 😭. I was so bored during that sequence. Give me more Frank please! I don’t mind Karen on her own. I just don’t see the chemistry between her and Matt

Natsu is ... such a good person? He is so kind and values his friends so much, he's willing to do whatever it takes for them, he's angry on their behalf when they're hurt be it physically or emotionally, he's so hurt when faced with the thought of losing them? He might be arguing with them over the most meagre of things then getting revenge for whoever messed with them the next second. He's the friend you want irl. He doesn't want them to worry about him. He never takes the full credit for his achievements, always insisting that it was a team effort (which it is, most of the time, but it is interesting to see when complimented, he talks about his how his friends did just as great). He would take the pain for his friends. He would sacrifice his life for them if he could. He's strong for them. After it is revealed that he is Zeref's brother, not to mention END, he develops an identity crisis, but the audience doesn't even know about it until it's brought up by the Igneel in the mindscape. His thoughts are voiced by another character, but rarely ever by him especially if it's during a vulnerable time. He never gave up on finding Igneel. He loves and cherishes his friends. He would engage Zeref head-on in combat if it meant protecting the guild. He loves his friends so much. The way he immediately tries to comfort them when they're feeling down is so heartwarming. All of these amazing qualities of him deserves more recognition.

Okay, everyone, Natsu and Lucy as a couple is cute and all…but I think everyone’s missing the comedic potential of Natsu and Lucy trying to be each other’s wingman. Basically trying to give their bestie romantic advice that fails horribly.

Like Lucy tries to help Natsu with the girl he likes, but it mostly comes from tips from Sorcerer Weekly and sappy romance novels. And Natsu trying to act like that is off putting to everyone.

Natsu can also give bad tips on how Lucy could impress her crush…or the ultimate irony: his dating advice works out since it’s about being as straightforward and blunt as possible.

TL:DR There needs to be more fics about Natsu & Lucy’s hilarious friend dynamic. The ship is cute, but sometimes ya just want to read about goofballs being goofballs

in s3 of heartstopper, when they address the imogen/sahar possible romance, (and I definitely think they will, there was no heterosexual explanation for that prom scene) I hope Imogen says she wants to be unlabeled, and the whole gang is supportive of this, and tell her that it’s completely fine to be unlabeled, and there’s no pressure to label yourself when you’re just figuring things out, and then even after you’ve figured things out. it’ll be like a not-so-subtle way of saying ‘fuck you’ to all the ‘fans’ who pressured and bullied kit because he was unlabeled.
