Turning around once he heard Lily’s voice, he looked at her with faint amusement as she stood there talking to someone before walking up beside her, “Your James is right here!” He announced loudly, at the mention of the stuffed cat, he gasped slightly, “Crap, I dunno where I left that…” He mumbled, looking around distractedly.

“Asher! I mean James! What do you mean you lost Meowth?” Lily responded, furrowing her eyebrows. “We aren’t Team Rocket without Meowth, we have to find him”

“What’s a Meowth? And what are you?” Jude questions, eyebrow arching, tilting his head as if he was about to examine her more thoroughly. “And how did you get James to join you with - uh, this?”

“Pokemon? The worldwide phenomenon? Team Rocket? Meowth, like the cat- forget it, but this took me hours so at least appreciate it” She said gesturing to her wig. “James is Asher, who is either late or has decided to avoid me”

“My costume is a lot better with James, but apparently he’s late” Lily muttered, rolling her poke ball around on her hands. “I also gave him the stuffed Meowth to look after, so you can understand my concern.” Trying to make conversation was difficult with so much on Lily’s mind. T had to be at the party, she needed to use this opportunity to her advantage.

People understand why you are doing this, but what they don’t understand is why you’re so set on being a martyr, so to speak. It’s so much easier just to listen to T.   Lily, we all have secrets.

I just- that's not what I’m doing. I’m just doing my job, which involves taking the high rode and not the easy way out. Besides, secrets aren’t as bad as the ones she’s already revealed.

Piper shifted her weight from one foot to the other, not particularly convinced but perhaps it was just that she was too much of a scary cat to even consider doing something like what Lily was planing. “I guess so… but– well, never mind.” She shook her head a little. “Good luck with that!”

I guess I can’t stop you. Just proceed with caution is all I’m trying to say. I doubt as much. Have you not seen the people around here try to stand up to her? The worst thing that could happen is getting exposed and I don’t know about you, but I like my skeletons to stay in my closet.

Why don’t people understand, that's the reason why I’m doing this! People have a right to privacy, and I’m going to give it to them. If I get exposed, well, I don’t know what she’d say about me- I’m pretty boring
