having grace as an aroace representation (even if is not canon) is so special to me. it reminded me of who i am, made me feel seen, and most importantly: truly proud of who i am.

I had never seen a character who represented me so much. Someone who doesn’t fit society’s romantic expectations, trapped in his own mind doing something he loves, who feels out of place when he’s with people outside his social circle, obsessed with nature, who has a dry sense of humor and talks to himself, who loves children and teaching.

Ryland loves differently than other people, but his love is just as valid as anyone else’s.

Grace is amazing for all of this. He’s no less for not having a family or “not even a dog,” and that’s why it’s so important to me that he got a happy ending with his soulmate. He deserves all of this. He doesn’t need to meet anyone’s expectations because, in the end, what matters is that he’s happy, and he is 💛🤍💙

Soren getting fatally wounded, like he’s bleeding out and Corvus rushes over to him trying to stop the bleeding but it’s obvious there’s a very small chance of Soren actually surviving this

So Corvus starts crying and Soren is delirious and dizzy from the blood lose that all he can focus on is the fact that Corvus is crying, he doesn’t know why he’s crying but Corvus never cries so something must be wrong

And Corvus is so caught up in trying to keep Soren’s blood in his body that he slightly flinches when Soren’s brings his hand up to his cheek and just tells him it’s gonna be ok

In Soren’s mind he’s comforting Corvus, in Corvus’s mind Soren is excepting his death
