Catching up with Pretzels
-braces as he’s become used to, lands feet flat on his floor in his kitchen. looks back and smirks at him- I’ve gotten a lot better at that. No more appearing in th’ middle of the room five feet off th’ground.
-turns around to look at him and pulls him into a hug because why the fuck not- ‘Sbeen way too long, mate.
*about to reply, but cuts off in surprise at the hug before returning it heartily* It has indeed. I’ve missed you, my friend.
-pats his back a couple times, lingering in the hug only because it’s been such a long time, then pulls back, smiling- I only teleport when I need to, though, I still like driving.
-walks towards the kitchen where there’s a big basket of soft pretzels, fresh baked last night-
I will never understand why you prefer such slow transport. *chuckles, following him and pushing a stray tuft of greying hair back* They smell delicious, you’ve truly outdone yourself this time.
Driving a car is brilliant! Th’control of such a powerful thing right in yer hands, it’s great. th’rumble of the engine, and seein’ the sights o’course. -pauses, starting to put the coffee together- ‘course, I assume you’ve seen most of what’s good to see. -he smirks- it’s also nice because I can drive with no hands, ‘sfun to spook other people on the road. Drive from the backseat and whatnot -grins-
I should have known you would use your powers for mischief. *smirks, sitting down at the table, his tail curling behind him out of the way* But I suppose driving does have its charm.
-heats up a couple of pretzels and looks over his shoulder, still smirking- Well, what's th'point of havin' them if y'can't use em? Besides, car surfing is fun. -turns around- you've been driving before, right? -waves his fingers at the coffee maker, superheating the coils and getting the thing to brew faster, brings the coffee, sugar, and pretzels over to the table, sits down across from him- So what've you been up to?
