Welcome to my world, where things are never as they seem and seem to be what they are not.

I post photos of liminal spaces and scenarios. These places are known to trigger unknown reactions in many, like unwarranted nostalgia, unnerved curiosity but most of all, unprecedented lure.

Come take a seat with me.

You may find yourself lost in my world sometimes, but there is always a place to go, even if that place isn't anywhere. See me as your guide who shows these places to you. I am here to help, if that's what you choose to believe. And even when the shadows move like beings and the sky looks faux and deceiving, I assure you you are meant to be here.

I am strictly anti-AI and every photo you see is a real photograph. Some have been taken by me, some by others. If not taken by me, then I will do my best to credit the photographer.

Every place has its safety score or survival rate. I also may include a confinement score or a nourishment score. These show how trapped you feel in these places and how much natural sustenance there is, whether in the form of shelter, snacks, meals, water or other drinks. Keep in mind, it's how trapped you feel. Whether you are actually trapped or not is...well...difficult.

It stays in the corner, where no one else goes to stand and it is free to watch, awaiting interaction. It will help you if you ask, but most dare not to get close. It is here for friends.

You arrive in your own home. Or, rather, a warped version of it.

The windows don't look out at the same neighborhood you remembered, but instead a vast green land with no apparent end.

They don't want you to venture out.

Your living room.

It looks the same as it always did, but it doesn't feel like it used to. All your childhood wonder was stripped, leaving a hollow shell of your once lively home.

Strangely, as if your very presence in the house is draining your energy, you feel very hungry. You make your way to your old kitchen.

The Kitchenette.

Seemingly shrunken in size, you approach your refrigerator looking for food. The smell of your mom's old cookies is deceiving as there is no food in the fridge aside from a sad yellow can of almond water. No matter how many cans you take, a new one always appears upon your next visit to the fridge.

Eager for rest, you ascend the stairs.

The Hotel

you arrive at a hotel, the halls continuing on infinitely from where you came out from the lobby. there is a single keycard on the ground, reading room 201. you must go up the stairs to get there.

The Stairwell

you enter the stairwell, the carpet as dense as tile. the smell of insect repellent and something vaguely familiar wafts in, the scent fading as you take your first steps up the stairs.

Room 201.

you enter the room, greeted by a lonely couch and table. the walls seemingly wait in anticipation, hoping for an opportunity to cave in and trap you. but until then, this is where you must be. ignore the occasional knocking on the door for housekeeping, and keep the room tidy yourself.

every morning, upon waking up, you may spot a new snack or drink waiting for you, yet they aren't as common as would be ideal. never go down for the hotel breakfast. they aren't serving what you think they are.

The cinema.

It radiates an oddly warm feeling, despite its desolate and eerie atmosphere. You almost feel it calling to you, be it the projectionist or the theater itself.

This pull only gets stronger as you approach. Whether it be the odd sense of nostalgia or the comfort of a memory never truly lived, your foot steps through the door.

The Lobby

There is popcorn and assorted candy to eat, which always seem to appear right as you feel the need. You may find a pretzel on the rack occasionally, but they never come salted, only as void as everything else.

After you take the food you desire, you bring yourself to the auditorium.

The Auditorium.

The seats stand in line like soldiers. Or, rather, puppets. Whatever led you in here is very present in this room.

Your seat is in the very middle of all the others. Will they play a movie for you?

Having had seen nothing else until this point, you approach the doors. These two doors stand in front of you, each one a different story to unfold. Which one do you enter?

The first door leads you to a small pool, the door you just came in from disappearing as soon as you enter. The water is warm and lived in and the door in the corner is locked. There is nowhere else to go. The light never dims nor flickers, and you feel a presence waiting in between the tiles.

The second door leads you to an empty, uncannily bright hospital with no windows. The corridors seemingly never end and the floor plan changes as you roam. You feel something following you as you wander, but you never see anything once you turn back. You may find snacks in some of the rooms. There is no exit. This is your life until the voices of the patients who didn't make it find you.
