Dracula: A Love Tale 🫀

Ngl, out of all the Dracula adaptations I've seen, this became my new favorite. I liked how it leaned more into the romantic side of the story. Really appreciated how they portrayed Dracula's unwavering love and yearning for Elizabeta / Mina that transcends time and distance.

I really wanted them to get together at the end, though I do understand the weight of Dracula's decision to let the two of them separate once again so they could reunite in heaven, and when the time comes they'll finally have their eternal love.🌹

I'm such a sucker for the mortal-immortal and reincarnation tropes 🥲.

P.s. I low-key wished the priest and everyone else just let the two of them be in their home. Or like, couldn't they at least give them a week or two before storming the castle? Lmao

Okay. So. I read Wings of Starlight and loved it but no one else I know has read it because it’s sold out everywhere. But I need to go crazy and scream about it so Here are my Emotionally Charged Thoughts. Spoilers for Secret of the Wings but not necessarily the book.

CLARION IS 400 YEARS OLD IN THE TINKERBELL FRANCHISE!!!! *GNAWS DRYWALL WITH BARE TEETH* THIS IS A YA NOVEL AND BOTH OF THEM ARE YOUNG, PROBABLY IN THE 18-20 AGE RANGE. WHICH MEANS IT WAS 380 YEARS THEY HAD TO WAIT TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN. *PUNCHES CEMENT BLOCKS* THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY YEARS!!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE KNOWING THE PERSON YOU LOVE IS NOT VERY FAR AWAY FROM YOU BUT YOU CAN NEVER SEE THEM? NEVER TOUCH THEM OR HOLD THEM?? YOU CAN SEE THEIR HOME FROM AFAR RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW EVERY NIGHT AND YOU KNOW THEY ARE ALIVE AND WELL BUT YOU CAN NEVER BE WITH EACH OTHER?? *FISTFIGHTS THE OCEAN* OR IF THEY DID SEE EACH OTHER, IT CLEARLY MUST HAVE BEEN IN A SIMPLY FORMAL SENSE. Thinking about how Queen Clairon and Lord Milori probably became like teenagers all over again, sneaking off together, giggling and holding hands constantly, trying to make up for all the lost time, but also not being able to stop this young feeling as their love was put on pause and they are simply continuing from where they were, furthermore, the energy and life their love brings each other, being reunited brought back hope and peace. I love them dearly and I think Fairy Mary and Dewey (The keeper) are absolutely sick of them.

I just realized today that my boyfriend has a strong resemblance to Na Hwa Jin— tall, long haired, facial hair, and loves wearing black. They even have the same funny antics 😂. Like, did I just find myself a real life version of my fictional crush? What a coincidence 🤭

Okay I haven't been active here and on twitter for the past several months but I just heard that Spy X Family is getting a movie which is great and all (I'm seated) but when I read the feedback, I got shocked seeing so many people saying that Sxf is mid, boring, or other stuff. Like, whut??? Last time I checked, people were praising and talking about how much they love the show.

Seriously guys, I'm sure you're well aware that sxf's genre is comedy and slice-of-life with a pinch of action so of course it isn't in the same league as those shonen animes you compare it to.

It's light, wholesome, and filled with crazy every day shenanigans of the Forgers. It may not give the same hype shonen has, but it does relieve my stress and make my day better.

Stop calling things mid and boring just because it doesn't align with your interests. Jeez.

Look at the atmosphere and the surroundings, they're both at a dark street in the night with only a streetlight illuminating the area. And it seems like they are preparing to fight each other which explains those cold stares 😱
