still not over the fact glinda tells elphaba you're beautiful and looks at her with her big brown beautiful boba eyes. and then later, fiyero also tells elphaba she's beautiful and says that he's seeing through different eyes and looks at her with serial killer blue eyes. and then elphaba tells glinda "look at me. not through your eyes--through theirs" because glinda's eyes are the eyes that see her as beautiful and good and unlimited. and then when we see fiyero as a scarecrow he now has brown eyes

All respect to Jonathan Bailey – he genuinely elevated Fiyero as a love interest simply by playing him less in the vein of “brainless playboy” and instead empathizing his “hopelessly besotted prince” trait, which is the best way to make his character sympathetic – but I do have to question the choice to stare at Elphaba that intensely during As Long As You’re Mine all while the color editors didn’t even try to diminish the brightness of his eyes. I understand that the idea is that Fiyero’s so in love with Elphaba he could eat her up (relatable), but the vibes were not it.

I think the anime "deflated" a little bit what this scene meant in the manga.

In the manga, Yor seems to fill the room so much, that she illuminates Loid with her presence,here it's more like a "normal" .
