               WELCOME TO Constance School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the oldest and most prestigious private magic school in the world located in Scotland. Only wizards from the most elite families are chosen and sent acceptance letters by way of owl. THE FIRST YEAR for new and incoming students is approaching, and letters have been sent out! The lucky and privileged recipients must pack up their things, attain the attached list of required items and books (including their wand), and report to Constance for the first day, also known as Orientation and Sorting Day.

                 STUDENTS MUST BE SORTED into their CONSTANCE HOUSE, choices being: GRYFFINDOR, SYLTHERIN, HUFFLEPUFF, and RAVENCLAW. Once students are sorted, they must find their rooms within the house and get settled for class.

ugh this is my second time writing this because my computer just tried to force me into installing windows 10 and shut down my laptop without warning BUT ANYWAYS

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, limvrence will be on SEMI-HIATUS while I figure out my muses! I’ll still be here, but I feel kind of paused because I need to fully develop my muses ( the new ones I have ) so that I can have all the feelings for them and figure out what I’d like to do. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I want a verses page for each muse, and right now I have ZERO. So that’s the first thing on my list. Secondly, I want to re-do my theme entirely because I’m not a fan anymore, so once I do these things I’ll be happy with this indie account and I can come off hiatus. I’m not leaving~ here, I just need to figure my shit out basically, so this is my warning and reasoning for disappearing!

Kara listened to him go on, why didn’t he want her to know he was a good guy? It wasn’t like she would like him any less? In fact it was something she found attractive and made her want him more. “What is so wrong with putting your shield down?” she asked. “we have been doing this, whatever it is, for like what- two years.” though they had never said they were official she hadn’t been seen anyone else. “if I didn’t care about you I wouldn’t have went all crazy about the girl.” she said softly. “it was a dick move on my behalf, I just worry you are bored with me. Especially when you say things like you don’t owe me a explanation.”

     Riley’s breath caught in his throat like a rock, lumpy and hard to choke down. He hadn’t exactly realized until now how long he’d been... around Kara, so to speak. His refusal to acknowledge that they were a thing must come off as though he wasn’t interested in her.. but that wasn’t really it. Riley felt strongly for her, and he’d probably fight for the girl if she were to walk away from him. But a relationship? The word filled up his body and drowned his insides, incapable of figuring out how to change his perspective. “Shields protect you. Don’t you know that, Kara?” He asked, quirking his brow as he avoided making eye contact. Riley broke the moment of silence by clearing his throat, signaling he was ready to change the subject. “Anyway, I gave you an answer, and it’s not the one you were expecting. Don’t you owe me something?” Avoidance was key, and he was the key-holder.

The snow was, hopefully, gone for good. And the sun was out. Her scarfs and hats were put back in the rear of her closet and her sundresses hung back on hangers. As much as Weezie loved her oversized, comfy sweatshirts, she was more than ready for the end of sweater weather and the beginning of flip flop weather. Back in Alabama, she couldn’t walk her dog outside for two minutes without breaking a sweat. So, she was looking forward to warmer weather, but not the drenching sweat kind of heat she had grown up with.

When her phone lit up with a text from Piper, Weezie was out her door in a flash, dressed in a purple sundress and a pair of sandals.Not long after Weezie had received the text message did she arrive at the cafe, having parked her truck just a block away. As usual, she arrived early and stepped inside to request a table for two outside. It was just too nice of a day for her to pass up sitting outside. The birds were chirping. The sun was out and Weezie sat patiently, legs crossed, for her friend.

     To say that Piper was always late would be an understatement. Punctuality had never been her strong suit, and today was no exception. Of course, she had a reason... like she always did, but this time, it felt a little more valid. Regardless, she was only ten or so minutes late to her lunch with Weezie, the small time seeming insignificant in comparison to how late she’d been with others in the past. Rushing inside the cafe, Piper literally ran right past Weezie’s table without even realizing. It took her a minute or two of ransacking the floor plan of the cafe before she came full circle to the patio outside.

     “Oh,” Piper began, a breathy laugh escaping as she found Weezie perched outside like a pretty purple bird. “Sorry I’m late, Bandit’s walk took longer than expected.. on the count of him finding interest in a little squirrel. Chased me all over the park looking for the poor thing!” She explained, her bright eyes looking over at her brunette friend, plopping down and letting her heavy messenger bag hit the ground. “How’ve you been though? You look wonderful!” Piper cheered, leaping over the table to give her a hug.

Kara stood there listening to Riley go on. She had to admit she felt like the biggest fucking asshole in the world when he told her the girl was autistic. Part of her thought he was just being an asshole making jokes to make the situation better. She stood against the wall and listened to him on about what he had done, god she really felt like a asshole now. She only wondered how much ass kissing she was going to have to do to make up for this one.”If that was true then why didn’t you just tell me?” she asked him.

     Riley rolled his eyes in a sigh at the girl’s response, averting his eyes for a moment. “I didn’t know I owed you an explanation,” he replied, realizing how that came off once it spilled from his lips. Yikes. “I didn’t mean it that way, but listen... what you and I have, it’s fun. Super casual. But there are no labels involved, so it didn’t even cross my mind to let you know. Anyway, it kinda..” he paused, trying to figure out a way to word this so he didn’t sound like an asshole. “...Saying shit like this out loud, to you, shows you a soft spot in my shield. And sometimes, the shield is good.” Did that work?

Kara just held her hand up when he started talking. “Shut the fuck up with that bullshit.” she said closing her hand to finally look at him. “You made a promise to her as a child, well how sweet, too bad I don’t give a shit. “i mean if that is how we are playing it now then by all means, baby, i can play that game as well.” Kara said completely confident in herself. “If you want to walk out then please I will even get the god damn door for you. You are full if shit and I don’t have time to play your stupid fucking games. I’m not going to be one of those girls who shares you with ten other women. If that is the life style you want then bye Felicia, have fun but I refuse to let you bring your nasty ass bugs from some other girl back to my bed.”

     Riley, very politely, scooped his hand up to pull her’s down and out of his face, not really appreciating the gesture. “First of all, I didn’t say I was a child, so cut that shit, and second... if you must know, she’s autistic.” He made sure to keep a serious face so she knew he wasn’t bluffing or bullshitting her, because he wasn’t. Riley wasn’t a fan of letting people know he was actually a nice guy sometimes, but he supposed given the circumstances, it’d be alright to tell Kara. “Listen, the girl’s eighteen, and she needed a date to her prom. I used to be neighbors with her and her family a few years back, and made a promise to her that if she didn’t have a date to the prom, I’d snag her up. And here we are. Notice the cheesy fucking tie?” Riley pointed, tugging at the neck tie dangling on his chest. “She gave me a kiss on the cheek, and you’re flipping your shit.” He was really hoping this would feel good, throwing the truth at her, but he kind of felt... weird for letting her see the one nice bone in his body.

Kara looked at him, “I mean if you want to walk away go. God gave you two feet and a mother fucking heartbeat, bitch bye!” she said putting her hand up. She was never one for threats of leaving. Kara knew she was beautiful and she had men hit on her constantly, but for some reason she never went after the bait always holding out for Riley. “I’m not going to beg you to stay because i’m not petty and I could go right back to my ex and get the same sex game you got from him. So please stop acting like you are some hot shit or something I should be grateful I get to fuck. It was embarrassing and if that is what it is going to be like then like I said- bye.”

     Riley laughed, eyes flicking over to the blonde. “Funny how you say I’m being petty... pot calling the kettle black, baby.” This attitude of her playing hard to get was just pulling him in again, even if his cockiness wasn’t going to let him admit that. After all, there was a reason he liked Kara, but she didn’t have to know that. “Listen, you should really learn to hold your tongue. I made a promise to that girl, the one you claim is my girlfriend, when I was younger. You don’t know shit about the situation, so before you put your foot in your mouth, you should just chill the fuck out.” This was a warning, clear as day. He’d say he wasn’t looking forward to showing her up when she challenged the warning, but he’d be lying.

      Bethany sighed softly. It was a little silly, jumping into the closest cab. However, at that moment, all she could think about was her own pain and not the fact she could easily be inconveniencing someone. “He used to be so fun and then he gets sober and dumps me,”she explained to the stranger as she looked up at him, ignoring his comment. “How could someone be such an ass?”the dark eye girl questioned him, the drugs flowing through her system making her more open than she truly was.

     “Sober?” Riley asked, not really expecting an answer. If anything, he was just curious if she was talking about alcohol or various other narcotics. “Listen, people change, they move on. It’s uh, it’s gonna be alright,” he feigned, not really knowing if there was any truth to that. His eyes scanned her body, an impressed nod shortly following. “Where are you headed?” Anything to change the subject off of this ex-boyfriend.

“He dumped me,”Bethany told the boy as he pulled her close. She and her boyfriend had gotten into a fight outside a club. He said he was done, that he couldn’t with her being high all the time. He didn’t need someone so self destructive in his life.

     Riley had no idea how shit like this always managed to happen to him. All he wanted to do was hop in a taxi cab and get a ride home from the bar, but that never seemed to pan out in his favor. Some girl joined the taxi at the last minute, and two blocks in, she’s leaning on his shoulder. Riley, being a little drunk, welcomes her onto his chest, his arm draping lazily over her shoulder in response. Yeah, she was cute and all, so he was down for that, but then she had to ruin it by crying. “You.. deserve better?” He offered, trying not to make it sound like a generic saying (but it was).
