Lance from eldarya in Elden Ring? More likely than you think!
I'm by no means good at this game, nor am I good at meele builds, but that did not stop me from putting our beloved Lance in this game.
Let me start my guide on how to make him by telling you about the armor, because that is the least complicated. He wears black armor with red details, I endeavored to find the most fitting pieces in elden ring.
Armor for early game
Exile Set
Royal Remains Set
Mask of confidence or page hood with the earlier mentioned armor
Armor for late game
Oathseeker knight set (DLC)
Black knight set (DLC) (incredible stats for such low weight but the helmet is silly)
Night armor set (DLC) (what im wearing in the video demonstration.)
Black Knife Assasin set (muffles footsteps)
Weapon and ashes of war
With that out of the way, lets talk about the weapon. This build uses the greatsword found in north-west Caelid just past the Limgrave border. It is guarded by both big dogs and big ravens, however, combat is not neccesary to obtain it. Just sneak up to the carriage and steal it. The sword requires 31 strength and 12 dexterity to vield it, but two handing a weapon will boost your strength by 50%, so the requirement is actually 22. The dex requirement offers no such leniency.
The ash of war which this weapon comes with is fine, but we can do better. In early game the standard physical damage is fine, when stats are low it is best to not branch out anywhere, so i would recommend either not changing it or putting Lions claw on it. It can be obtained by defeating the lion on fort gael in western Caelid just south of where the sword was located. Following the second burning wall west will lead you to it. While you are there, get the starscourge talisman and flame grant me strength.
Lance has ice powers, so later on, I would recmmend putting Hoarfrost Stomp (Located in the puddle south of Caria Manor) and Divine Beast Frost Stomp (Located in Belurat, DLC) ashes of war on it. These will give the weapon inate frost buildup, which will cause the enemy to take 10% of their full health+30 damage if procced. This will also change the scaling, frost weapons scale with inteligence, however the amount of frist buildup they do will not increase with the int stat. For that reason I recommend only leveling strength when it comes to a choice between int, str and dex. When reaching 51 strength, the amount of damage per level drastically decreases, so after that I recommend dexterity. Dexterity doesn't just raise weapon damage, but spellcasting speed as well.
Incantations
For your spells, I recommend the fingerseal purchased from the roundtable hold for early game and the dragon communion seal mid to endgame. The dragon communion seal boosts dragon incantations, and those are the only damage dealing incantations I picked. It scales with arcane, as do the dragon communion incantations, so this is a big investment. It also glows red, which goes with our outfits.
The list of incantations are as follows-
Dragonice (fai15, arc12)
Borealis Mist (fai23, arc15) (Obtaines by killing a strong dragon. Stronger but more expensive than 1.)
Greyolls Roar (fai 28, arc17)
Golden wow (fai 25)
Flame, grant me strength (fai15)
Flame cleanse me (fai12) (trust me, you don't think you need this, but scarlet rot will get you and youll be pissed that you dont have it)
Heal from afar (DLC) (fai18) (exceptionally short casting time, amount healed scales with faith and seal upgrade. Don't waste your estuce flask if you don't have to)
Talismans
Early game
Starscourge talisman
Erdtrees favor (several stronger variations exist for later)
Bull-goat's talisman
Green Turtle talisman
Radagons soreseal/scarseal
Late game
Shard of Alexander (do Alexanders quest)
two headed turtle talisman (DLC)
Two-handed sword talisman (DLC)
Dragoncrest Greatshield (or any dragoncrest, depends on the enemy)
Physic bottle
Takers Cameo (specifically for a dungeon crawl)
Arsenal charm + great-jar arsenal charm
Crimsonburst crystal tear
Spiked cracked tear
Greenburst crystal tear
Greenspill crystal tear
Stonebarb cracked tear
Opaline hardtear
Such was the extent of my build. Have fun, all 1.7 individuals who play both Elden Ring and Eldarya!
