Anthurium veitchii
daily doodle no. 10 🍎🌿
In late 2019, I crossed these two Schlumbergeras. About 6 months later, the fruit had ripened and I was able to harvest and plant the seeds. This is what they looked like last summer. Today, the first flower on the first of the seedlings has opened. Funnily enough, the color is almost a perfect mix of its parents!
When you’re not supposed to pick favorites, but…
I’ve had this Hoya callistophylla for 1 year and 4 months and she’s come so far. Dare I say, beyond my wildest dreams? (Ha!) I’m gonna need a bigger trellis, and eventually a bigger pot. In the meantime, determined blooming! (More peduncles incoming it looks like)
Found a baby photo for those interested in glow ups!
July’s herbologist reward, the iris, its folklore and historical uses. The curiosities iris print (1st above) is genuinely one of my favourite works I’ve made this year 💜🌟

My new plants from earlier this year! 🪴 🌼 One of them is still around right now 💖
What is this?! It’s so adorable!
Both my big bear paws looked scraggly from 1 neglect and 2 moving abroad. Decided to put them together in one pot
Here's my syngonium 'pink splash'! I took this photo a while back while it was raining :3
