All ready for my CT scan today at #mountsinaihospital Not sure what to expect these days so I've got water resistant bags that can be wiped, 2 different types of masks, a phone cover to keep the nasty germs out, my own straw for that yummy barium 🤪 and my own pen for anything that needs signing. I have been missing @thecornerstonepilates so much that I set up a space at home to try a virtual private session and it was amazing! Thank you @jocelynepelchatpilates for getting me moving again and helping to keep me strong for my surgery ❤️.

Note: you don't need any fancy equipment I just happen to have collected a few things over the years and wanted to show off 😁

(Fact: my dog used to use my yoga mat so there are holes on the other side so I can't turn it over lol)

I recently enjoyed some free online sessions from @lionsroarbuddhism and decided to get a few books as well. I decided to read this one first, it's not long and very easy to read. I'm very thankful for finding many resources such as this whiIe I have been on my cancer journey, it certainly has changed my perspective on many things. Today I went out to drop off supplies to a friend in need. I was in a car and then made a quick drop off on the porch. What I saw while I was out shocked me. People in lines getting #starbucks and out in the streets and trails almost bumping into each other. It made me really sad that people are not taking things seriously when so many people are getting sick and dying. Unfortunately I can't control what people are doing so I will do my part and #stayhome unless it is essential. So yesterday was hard...it was supposed to be the day that I had my cytoreductive + HIPEC surgery which was cancelled because of Covid-19. Trying to stay positive that things will get better soon.
