I know, I know, am late to the thing that I tried to bring back. But I'm here now, so it's all good.
My creator owned piece is from a little comic I did back in first year Labelled jimmy the Kid Dinosaur, The comics still around shall have to try to find it... but now he is all grown, into a grumpy teen.

Was thinking of bringing this back and well, the consensus seems to be that people also want it to return! Soo, yeah, that's good! I guess as this was my idea, I'll come up with the first theme?

Hello people of LOW.
I have been asked by a friend to put this to you all. He has written a novel and has been sending it off to every conceivable publisher and he would like us to design the cover, or if not the whole cover just the crest.
Its a fantasy novel and this is how the book is described in the book.
'It was made of fine leather and embellished with a labyrinthine pattern that worked its way towards the embossed crest in the centre. The metal furniture that formed the binding was as intricate as the decoration on the boards, weaving its way along the spine and cover, encasing the book in a silver skeleton. The crest in the centre is a triangle made of three arms, one holding a pen, one holding a scroll and the last with an empty but open hand. It was embellished with fanciful scrollwork and enclosed in a circle'

I chose the recent LoW theme of 'Cancelled TV Shows' specifically so I finally had a chance to draw Chuck from Pushing Daisies, an amazingly cute little show about Life, Death and Pies - it got cancelled at the end of it's second series, and although the writer's did their best to round up all the loose ends, it felt really rushed, and deserved a proper send-off in my opinion - or better yet, a resurrection (as would be appropriate really). The mood of the show was super-twee, with fun, energetic characters and bright, lively sets and backgrounds, and Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles (the main love interest, played by british actress Anna Friel) was always dressed in these amazingly retro dresses, so I've tried to replicate a pin-up style here based on this image: http://uploads.tractorbeam.com/blog/images/Tractorbeam_Sissys_MenuCovers.jpg - the various items at her feet represent theme's or characters from the show, some are more obvious than others... Honestly, everyone should check this show out, it's refreshing just to see something that's completely free of grime and grit for a change.
Dr Bhamba from Better Off Ted, a show which I miss a lot. Not extremely happy with how this turned out, but i'v been staring at it for far to long trying to make it work. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it, especially the episode in the first series called Bioshuffle.
(I initially thought I was going to draw Spike for this theme as well!) But as my early attempts didn't seem to be working out, and then we'd already had a couple of Spike I thought I'd try drawing Oz.
(Very sketchy and rough, but I didn't think anything neat would either suit Oz or flow from my pen!)
So we've had a couple of Spike's this week, so I decided to go for a Drusilla to go with 'em. Gotta love those crazy vampire kids!
Sorry I'm so late! Major fail, I know, but between a busy week and several failed attempts to draw Giles, I just got later and later. Since Giles didn't work, I decided to go for something more vivid.
The thing I love about the vampires in Buffy is how horrific they have the potential to be; I certainly wouldn't want to meet one on a dark night.

ok so having never watched buffy this was difficult for me but i found these creepy looking guys called The Gentlemen. So i drew them :) better than my last pile of ass submission :)
Very quick version of Spike from Buffy. Had to get the piece done today so its a bit rushed.
S-S-SUPER GREEN!! I was busy over December doing commission work, so now that I have time to commit to LoW again, I thought I'd do a mash-up piece featuring the ones I missed: Featuring: President Obambam as Samurai Jack (Obama, Samurai Jack) Rygel as Aku (Farscape, and Samurai Jack again) and Ruby Rhod as Ruby Rhod (The Fifth Element)
