Well, shit, now she had to break out with the entire lying thing, didn't she? Milagro kept the smile on her face. "Couple of other sectors," She bluffed, "I think in one of them, I was the only bipedal thing there."
Damian stared at her arms, which indicated she wanted a hug. Blue hues looked back up to the girl.
"No."
Too late, Milagro's swooping in for a hug and that's one more hug for Damian Wayne than was probably needed.
"You know, I'm pretty sure Irey'd give me a hug if I asked."

"How do you celebrate it?" he wondered aloud, mind immediately wandering back to his Grandpa and dad. Not that he’d ever gotten the chance to meet either of them, but here, in this century, it seemed like every hero had known Barry Allen.
"Are there skeletons and stuff too? Oh! And those Christmas cakes. I really like those a lot." It was just going to be the best holiday mash-up either.
"It varies from place to place," Milagro began, "Generally, though, my family made an altar for those who have died, and then we go and clean their graves, and decorate them after."
"Yes, there's skeletons," Milagro smiled a bit. "We can make all the holidays in this, how's that sound?"
"You're tall."
"Uh, thanks. I get that a lot," Nightwing raised an eyebrow, "Um, who are you exactly? I don’t think we’ve met…"
Dick looked at her again, “Where have you being the last seven years or so?”
"Places," Milagro said vaguely, "Not Earth. Been a long time." She waved a hand, grinning a bit.
"Don’t bother with your bad passive aggressive insults. They don’t work and I won’t waste my time on them.”
She pauses, the teen looking over the other with observant eyes. White Lanterns weren’t commonly heard of, at least not to Selima, so she took the opportunity to study Milagro.
"Forgive me," Milagro said, although it sounded a bit wooden to say, "Bad experiences with your people."
Milagro found her thoughts vaguely wishing for a few more inches in height. She hated having to look up, but she wasn't about to waste the energy on hovering to properly look someone in the eyes.

Jaime winced, he knew that. And it disgusted him. “I know, I wasn’t exactly unconscious the last thirty nine years.. . ” He mumbled uncomfortably. God he wished he had been. but that would’ve been too merciful.
"But, yeah, he knows. He’s the reason I’m not On Mode anymore." He explained quietly. "Can’t be sure exactly what he did, hurt like hell. But it fixed us- er, broke us, I guess." What was the term he was even supposed to be using anymore? He didn’t know.
Milagro nodded quietly, before she squeezed her brother's hands. "Got it. But we need to get you out of here for a bit, okay?" She said softly, rubbing her thumbs over Jaime's knuckles. "I know of a place nearby."
"You're not safe here," She continued on, "Well, nobody with powers--granted to us or what have you--is. I've only been around this long because I'm lucky. And I don't want to leave you alone in this place."
"--Damian, c'mere."
And Milagro's even holding our her arms for a hug.
