I’m searching for a fic written rather recently, like post-SOTR, with virgin Haymitch/first time Hayffie.
I can’t find it ANYWHERE because of course I don’t remember the title or writer but it begins with Hayffie doing the dirty but Effie stops mid-way when she finds out Haymitch is actually a virgin - something he admits in shame - and she runs to grab a couple of … candles, I think? because she wants to make it special.
If someone knows the name of the fic please share the link down below and while you’re at it: if you have any other virgin Haymitch/first time Hayffie to recommend please do!

Im with you my friend!!!! And actually it makes sense why they put this part and not their first time - this is the Effie we know most of the time!!!
The one who is overly enthusiast, smiles through her pain, the mother/friend hen that is there to preen and make sure everything is in tip top shape.
Also the second before we see her she is turning around from vitus and prosie as is she is talking to them too… like making sure they stay upbeat as much as possible.
I do need to see the lavender hair and dress though.
Also - in the trailer the part of her dress from her chest - is checkered and black - she is mourning maysilee and Lou Lou and Wyatt (she never met louella technically - but at that point im time she doesn’t know that) like with what she said during the prep for the interviews “there was a lot of black because there were so many funerals.”
She wears black for the one that were killed in the games - she wears black for twelve.
