FALLING WALLS / Berlin
November 2013: presenting the «Liquid Strelka» project at the Falling Walls Lab in Berlin, Germany. Breaking the wall of control in education — A student can become responsible for his actions only when he can independently define the necessary resources, methods and, most importantly, the purpose of the work: in her «Liquid Strelka» educational experiment Liya Safina has investigated the limits of independence and necessary interventions.

«Liquid Strelka дала ощущение расширившихся возможностей. Самое важное — то, что требовалось действовать самостоятельно и самой определять цель и средства, а в результате мы сделали проект, в котором отразились и нашли решение наши собственные переживания. Большое впечатление — общение с экспертами из Роттердама и Нью-Йорка. Ощущение, что там люди, которые занимаются тем же, что и я, и я могу с ними общаться.
А еще я уже два дня работаю в Департаменте культуры Москвы — организую конкурс проектов реновации Домов культуры — и это результат того, что во время воркшопа я занималась проектом «Чего хочет Москва».

Две недели назад участники экспериментальной лаборатории Liquid Strelka получили четыре кейса с тем, чтобы самостоятельно, без учителей, исследовать контекст и решить совершенно незнакомые задачи. 9 августа, в 20.00, можно будет узнать о результатах работы четырех команд, а также самого эксперимента.
~ Two weeks ago our teams received 4 briefs in order to work on them without any teachers, to research the context and solve completely unfamiliar tasks. August 9, 20.00 come to Strelka yard to find out the results of teams' work and the experiment itself.
