Iâve been making a list of things that help when Iâm stressed, worried, doomscrolling, etc. and I figured Iâd share it, one little drawing at a time.

Wembley Fraggle & Cotterpin Doozer singing a duet in matching banana tree shirts = #friendshipgoals perfection. The song itself starts at 1:19. (Just watched the episode & I'm tearing up over here)Â Â

đŹ I have a new story story in Switchback Journal today! It's about a girl who wishes she were made of candy.
Sometimes when my friends are nice to me (or when I do something nice for them), I see a little animation in my head of a rainbow that ends in the word friendship. Today, I tried to recreate it as a painting.
This little robot is my Valentine to everyone who is working hard to add more love and kindness and equality to the world.
Ever wonder what itâs like to work as a chainsaw-wielding psycho in a theme park horror attraction? I interviewed Will Galarza, a scare-actor, about his job, for Mel Magazine.
These sassy vegetables are putting the crude in crudité!
I thought it would be funny to have a beach towel with a big hot dog on it, so if you lie on it, you look like youâre in a hot dog bun. So I made one on Society 6.
Twin High-Maintenance Machines. A robot painting inspired by a line in the Mountain Goats song âThis Year.â
It was a high, awkward giggle, and it was contagious.
Hereâs a tiny, weird story I wrote for Exposition Review!
I wrote a tiny story inspired by this weird stock photo for David Mogolovâs Out of Stock project. (Itâs very silly and involves talking animals.)

YOU GUYS! The Shadow Tarot is live! Â This is the coolest writing project I've done in a while: Tarot card descriptions inspired by the Freeform TV series Shadowhunters: http://tarot.shadowhunterstv.com/
It was so much fun working with my coworkers from back in the day, Emily Mandelbaum and Tony Zito, and consulting with my tarot genius friend Veronica Varlow about what the different cards mean. I hope the cards tell YOU something nice.
Iâm thrilled to have a story in the new issue of Better Culture and Lit! Read âThe Igloo in the Yardâ or let me read it to you via audio or video. :)
One of my stories, Umbilical, is featured on this podcast:Â (It's a really weird experience to hear a stranger read my story out loud and share his thoughts about it.)
